"I am not sure," Gallagher says. "I know that the Force can be used in Mind Tricks, but I don't know if it can be used to persuade someone to end their own life... I think their natural survival instinct would resist too strongly."

Also, Gallagher had a short vision before the confrontation with Sienar on Spiridos of the fighting on Cassilis. Is it possible that he could make that connection with the Lady's description of driving worlds mad?

Perhaps.

"Of course," says Sienar. "Such a thing is ridiculous. You are powerful with the Force indeed and could not do such a thing. The Force affects the weak minded who ebcome suggestible to it, not... controlled by it. In all the tales of the Jedi and the Sith, no such thing has been noted, has it?"

"Not that I know of," Gallagher says.

"Well," he says, approaching you very closely to whisper. "Perhaps you might just learn something today, Mr. Klinge-Faust."

He moves back away from you.

"I must greet the Senators," he says, straightening some clothing. "And after that I am sure your friends will wish to speak to me, and I hate to disappoint. So you have some time to yourself."

"We will discuss this later," Gallagher says, pulling his cloak around him. He feels cold in the presence of Sienar, despite being so open with him about his visions. He considers why he is being so open with Sienar, deciding that he wants answers for what he has seen more than anything. And answers for his sister.

"What am I to do in the mean time?" Gallagher asks.

"You want answers about yout past? Then I'd think about that past, if I were you. I cannot help you if you are unclear."

Gallagher says nothing, looking down from Sienar and into his lap.

This can only get worse... Gallagher thinks to himself.

"Accomodations are not needed," Jelena says. "We will do without. So, Mirani arrived on the Abbot. Who else was on that ship? Perhaps we could speak with them."

"The Abbot was with his normal entourage, his aide Kathya, and the Jedi he said had been assigned to protect him. They have all withdrawn to the Basilica."

-

Sienar leaves the room shortly afterwards, Gallagher, leaving you entirely alone.

Jelena's lekku twitch in response to Sienar's Jedi protector being mentioned.

"Perhaps it would be possible for us to visit the Basilica?" Jelena asks. "Speaking with the Abbot and his entourage may give us an indicator as to where Doctor Mirani has gotten off to."

"The Basilica is open to all visitors," he says. "The Abbot, of course, is exceptionally busy but perhaps an appointment can be arranged, at some point."

"What of his aide, Kathya?" Jelena asks. "Or the Jedi protector?"

"Both inside the Basilica."

"So you've said, but are they available to speak with?" Jelena asks.

"It's possible. In the case of the Jedi I am sure that is up to him."

"Of course," Jelena says. "In that case, our destination is the Basilica, Father Karlan. If you could set up appointments with the Abbot and his aide- separately- that would be most helpful. We shall speak with the Jedi protector ourselves."

"Yes, " Andro nodded. "I feared the Abbot and his company would be too busy so I did not ask. I am glad Jelena has more sense. Do we request audience through yourselves, or with whom?"

Well, that being the case, he will take you guys to the Basilica!

Gallagher lifts his head and watches Sienar go. Shortly after, Gallagher rises from the edge of his bed. Having slept in his Jedi robes, he simply pulls them tightly about himself and goes off to shower and make himself presentable. After that, he decides to wander the halls of the Basilica, absently admiring the grandeur of the interior and thinking on what Sienar said about remembering his past.

Was it ever established why Brith and his Dark Jedi cohorts had come to the Klinge-Faust estate?

So, you Jedi make the journey through the streets. As with Gallagher before you, what you observe on this warm planet are mostly low-levle buildoings (built up into a warren over the centuries or more, thoguh there are also large open areas for public events and the like) dwarved by the looming citadel of the Basilica in the middle. You can see the strewn debris from the recent celebrations accompanying Sienar's return.

Inside the Basilica you will be able to speak to those involvd with the Church, but this comprises only half of your mission. It is very much to your advantage that you begin work on the Mirani situation as soon as possible as well.

-

Well now, there's a long story, Gallagher.

But this is a difficult area for you. That whole time was... traumatic, and on the recommendation of many experts, not to mention the Jedi Council, at the time, you have basiclaly been instrcted never to dwell on that time. The Jedi were never happy about you consorting with your family, after all. The Council always said the tiem would one day come to come to terms with it all.

Well, maybe that time has come? But you have not thought about it all in a long time.
