Because you didn't tell Korth of your findings, he was left trying to uncover the trail by evidence- a slow and frustrating process.
But Zaland came up with a different idea for you two to follow- let someone else do the work for you. Find those assassins the Hutts have sent, and with any luck they will have found those who kidnapped your sister.

"Curt words for one trying to do you a favour," says Sienar. "In my generosity, I have come to give you another chance."
Andro is lost in pondering the puzzles around them, and doesn't know something's amiss until Jelena speaks Seinar name. He is rocked from his thoughts and snaps his head up to face the Dark Jedi. He makes a very deliberate show of folding his arms across his chest instead of having his sword arm at the ready. He says nothing immediately, quickly running through his conversation with Master Tinn, steeling his resolve anew against another attempt on Seinar's life. He understands now why he must not, why he cannot. But he knows all to well how compelling the creature's words can be and doesn't want to make things any harder on himself. He stay silent, letting Jelena and Roan speak instead.
"I can gloat from my office. I can gloat from the pulpit. I can gloat as the new Archimandrite of Mandragos. I can gloat actually AT my moment of victory. But if you feel coming alone to tis place to offer you the chance to kill me again kis gloating then you are even more clueless than you seem.
"You can speak in whatever superior tone you chose to adopt, pretending you have the measure of me."
He takes a step closer.
"It changes nothing, Andro, Give any excuse you like- you'll come to kill me in the end. And it will be too late."
Andro stares at the void in Seinar's hood. "Don't misunderstand me Seinar. I will kill you, in the end, I'm sure. But I won't be doing it because you wish it, I won't strike you down in anger or revenge. I do see my error in your office. I won't throw away the principles of the Light. We may or may not foil your plot. It was recently pointed out to me that the Jedi have failed before and will fail again. So be it. But I will bring you to justice for your crimes. And I will do it honorably."
"What a person wishes to do and what is right to do are often different things. Everyone in this room knows I seek your end, and why. My only failure would be to strike you down now." Andro tries to speak with confidence, but everyone in the room also knows Seinar is right. Andro can put no feelings behind his words, no conviction. The Jedi in him understands the arguments against strikjing the evil man down, but the warrior in him and his sense of justice see it as the only solution, only way to win.
"You understand so little about how the Dark Side works. That guilt you will feel? Your regret at not killing me when you had the chance? So much sorrow on your conscience? That's what I want, Andro. It empowers me. it is my goal. By handing it to me, you have simply surrendered without a fight. This goes for all of you, of course. I had expected more form the Jedi."

"Think about it," says Korth. "No trail on any other world? No sign her old lover has returned to any place he once used? No ransom, no apparent point... no sign at all? Logic AND instinct in equal measure, Gallagher. Remember that. Our instincts should have told us what was obvious. Our time is being wasted; she is on Thespia still. This is some internal poltiical matter between the families there. Regardless, I cannot allow her to be used as a pawn in some noble's game. I have a lead on her location."
Andro stares at Seinar for a few seconds, and feels something begin to click into place. Maybe.
"That's right. I am frustrated at your constant countering and manovering. You've done a very good, and purposeful, job of planting that into my head, the idea of hoplessness. It clounds my thinking, distracts me from the truth. You're going to do that with the Senator tomorrow, aren't you? No matter the outsome, some side will fail, and people, in some way, will suffer for it. You're going to hold that over them, maybe you already do, like with us. The senators are all scheming toward their own ends, and I'll bet a certain number are racing like we are to figure you out, so they can benefit. Is this all about power over people? But to what end?"
Sienar laughs.
"You waste your time. As you cannot stop me, trying to decipher mty ends is foolish. And what do you know of lies? The era of the great liars is long gone. You are ill-matched against me.
"But never forget, Jedi, that I gave you this last chance- which you did not take."
-
"I'm not without contacts in high circles," says Korth. "And the only secure places on Thespia are those under the stewardship of these family protectors they have. I looked into enemeis of the Klinge-Faust family on Thespia and where their protectors might be found; my instincts say I am right. We must hurry!"
Andro tries to return the laugh, but is unsure if he is sucessful, "If the era of great liars is over, then that means you are not so clever, but merely insane." Now he places his hand near his saber hilt, and raises his voice, "And I won't foget anything about our meetings. If you wish to die, then take up your blade against me and let's get down to business. Otherwise, I have no more to say to you."
Jelena does wonder for a moment if they are being foolishly optimistic about stopping Sienar without having to strike him down now. But only for a moment. She pushes the thought out of her head, knowing that killing him in cold blood would not be the way.
"Let him go, Andro," Jelena says. "In a fair contest or not, ending his life will not help."
