"Give me the suitcase," Gallagher demands.

"Why the wll would I do that?" he replies, with great aggression in his voice. You feel a very atrong emotional response to that request, far more than you would think was normal or even natural.

(Sonofa... I forgot about that again. One of these times I'm going to have to try to sneak in. I suppose since we're on official investigation business this time doesn't make a difference, legally?)

You haven't actually got any evidence of anything yet, so Kathya is not a suspect.

Gallagher is shocked by the response that Tavers has to the demand for his suitcase. But then, using his senses, he realizes that Tavers has been corrupted. Using the Dark Side, Sienar must have made Tavers unbendingly loyal on a subconscious level.

"It has the answers I need to unravel what Sienar's plans are!" Gallagher says, holding his lightsaber hilt away from Tavers. "If I am to be his student, I must know what he knows."

"If you are his student, you'll learn from him as HE dictates!"

"The Force helps those who helps themselves," Gallagher says, repeating the mantra that Tavers threw back at him earlier. "Sienar has corrupted you, Tavers. He has broken your will and now you are only an extension of his. Fight it! Give me the briefcase."

"If he wants you to have it, he'll say so. I'm leaVing. If you want it, you'll have to kill me for it because there is no way in hell I am handing it over."

Gallagher stands for a moment with his lightsaber hilt pressed to Tavers' chest, but he knows he cannot even begin to entertain the idea of murdering him in cold blood. He steps aside and lets Tavers pass without a word.

Can Gallagher see Kathya next?

Damn! During that altercation she seems to have stormed out her room and out of there.

Jelena will surrender her lightsaber without fuss before heading into the Basilica.

Gallagher will reach out with his senses, thinking that she could not have gone far and that he may be able to sense her flustered mind.

Yes, you can sense her. She's headed to a populated area though.

Gallagher will still follow her.

Which means you find her again in the crowded upper levels at exactly the same point Jelena does...

Gallagher goes after Kathya, walking hurriedly and pushing his way through the crowded upper levels. Upon reaching her, he places a hand firmly on Kathya's shoulder.

"Where do you think you're..." he starts to say, when suddenly Gallagher senses something. His gaze snaps up and meets Jelena's as she approaches Kathya, with Andro in tow.

Jelena enters the upper levels, having gone there shortly after finding Kathya not in her room but sensing her nearby. She approaches Kathya in the crowd but does not realize that Gallagher is near her until she is close.

"Gallagher!" Jelena says, surprised, but she remembers herself. "Kathya. I would like to speak with you both..."
