USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (JEDI)- Purity

That'd be a Force Attack roll, Gallagher- not your speciality. Nor is Andro's Force Defence, but even so...

Gallagher will go through with it. As much as he wants to talk with Andro, he cannot risk it.

I can give you a bonus success on that roll if you think Andro's persistence after you said no is annoying you enough to motivate you.

Hmm... that feels like a trap. As in Gallgaher is responding out of frustration with his effort to push Andro back? Using his emotions?

It's just there if you want it. As it is you are trying to beat him on successes based on his Strength against your Force Attack - his Force Defence.

Okay, Gallagher will take it. Upset with himself and frustrated that Andro will not let him be, Gallagher waves a hand backwards at the Jedi Knight, intending to launch a gentle push that will trip him up.

Andro sees Gallagher's gesture, knows what must be coming, and gives up the chase, defeated. He tries to relax his body, instead of bracing against it, and allows the attack to take full effect.

In that case, Gallagher's push sends Andro stumbling backwards, though not very far, and Gallagher disappears back into the upper levels...

Andro stands for a moment, staring after Gallagher disappears. "Fine." He says to no one and turns to head back to Kathya and Jelena.

Gallagher sighs, both in relief and in sorrow. He realizes that, for all his power, his offensive maneuver was not as strong as it appeared to be, and that Andro must have given up the chase. He hopes that it will not negatively impact upon his friend. There is little he can do about that.

Failing to get his hands on the suitcase or speak with Kathya, Gallagher decides he will try to see what Sienar's personal quarters are like, wondering if there will be anything of interest within. If not, he will at least run into Sienar and discuss with him the fact that he did not kill anyone involved with his sister's kidnapping...

Sienar is waiting for you in his quarters upstairs...

Gallagher will enter Sienar's chambers, looking around as he does so. When he realizes that Sienar is there, he is somewhat crestfallen, having hoped that it would unoccupied so he could search the room for anything that could give him answers.

What is Sienar doing? If he is just sitting, Gallagher will seat himself opposite.

He's actually facign away from you, his hood up, apparently staring blankly into a wall just to the right of the window.

This is simply a lounge, with nothing of note inside unless you like comfy chairs.

Gallagher cautiously approaches Sienar from behind, pausing only to keep his distance from the masterful Dark Sider.

"Sienar," he says, quietly. He is confused by what Sienar is doing.

Do we actually have evidence enough to take Kathya into custody?

You have zero evidence. You haven't actually connected the fund to any wrong doing. You can't arrest her for administering a charity.

"I can feel the mood of the whole city," says Sienar. "Every emotion, every feeling. Every last selfish, hypocritical urge. Through the Force you can feel then pulse of the universe."

Gallagher tries to open up his senses as Sienar is doing, trying to sense the city that lies beyond the Basilica.

"No doubt you sense their joy," Gallagher says. "You are to be Archimandrite soon."

"Pathetic, isn't it?" he sneers. He steps away, briefly glances out the window with its view of the city and snaps the blinds closed.

Gallagher is further confused by Sienar's attitude, suddenly different than the confident and wisened man that has kept Gallagher under his watchful eye.

"No," Gallagher says. "They genuinely believe you can help the Galaxy, because they do not know what you really are or what you intend to do."

Gallagher will try to sense Sienar's mind, just in case he has let his guard down.

I think what I need to do now is try to find more information on the Church itself. Looking for rumors of secrets it knows, ancient libraries or something that would lead Sienar to want to control it.
