Gallagher is disturbed by Sienar's reaction as he remembers the mocking laugh, knowing that he had heard it before, long ago...

There's gotta be something we are missing.
Well I'm going to go back to the old adage...
When in doubt, look for scum.
Any seedy places around here? Bars? Dark allys? anything where I could pick up some less than favorable information?

"So," says Sienar. "You have seen much. Are you going to join with my little group?"

(So, Kathya? Is she still with Jelena, or did she get away?)

With Jelena, though not interested in keeping it that way.

(Is he speaking in the past or present?)

"I won't join the Dark Side," Gallagher says, reeling.

Present.

"That is not what I asked."

Gallagher focuses himself, suppressing the images of his slain sister, and stares hard at Sienar. He realizes if he says no to Sienar that he will be unable to protect him and also lose any opportunity to find out what is happening.

"Yes," Gallagher says after a moment. "I will."

(Might want to look into rumors about the Church, or old stories about it. We know that the Sith wiped out their leadership long before any of what is happening now.)

"I can sense your defiance, but you know what I say is true," Jelena says. "We can protect you, Kathya. If you stand with Sienar and fail him, there is only one use he has for you. Right now you are his scapegoat."

(Assuming Andro can make it back through the crowd to them before Kathya bolts.)

Andro makes his way back to Jelena and Kathya as quickly as he can. Pointedly not making any comment about his pursuit of Gallagher, he addresses Kathya sternly. "We are unravelling Seinar's plot. Soon we will be able to prove your involvement, I'm sure you know that. You will fail him and he will have you killed, probably before the day is out. Help us, don't make us waste time. Help us and we will place you in protective custody on our ship, we will take you back and I will personally advocate your case in light of the fact that you helped us. Walk away from us now and you will have only hours to live. Either by Seinar's instructions, or my hand if you are found aiding him when this all goes down. This is you chance, Kathya, despite all that you've done, to save yourself."

That sounds like a good idea Jelena.
I will go and look for old rumors and stuff like that regarding the church.

Sienar smirks.

"You listen but you do not hear. Are you really so blind to all that goes on around you?

Roan- a bust. Time spent gives you absolutely nothing- there are no dark rumours or secrets about the Church at all.

"You really are clueless people," says Kathya. "Like I am going to give you any satisfaction. Like I said- go to hell."

Gallagher scowls.

"I do not believe so," Gallagher says, "but it is hard when everything in this place seems to lie just beyond my grasp, hidden behind some veil. I can sense that my answers are near but I cannot see them."

"These ones are dancing in front of your face. But perhaps you still need to remember more... like about my associates back on Thespia?"

"I remember them well enough," Gallagher says. "Twisted things of darkness..."

Nonetheless, Gallagher takes the heavy hint and begins to focus, taking him back to the events of the past hopefully for the last time, and hopefully returning with answers about the present.

"I think you're the clueless one, throwing your life away."

It began during the de-briefing of your sister, Gallagher. She was taken to a diffeetne estate, away from heer traumatic experience, and the two of you went along to see how much of the puzzle could be put together. Korth was asking her questions about everything that happened when yuo got the call from Zaland.

"Shows how little you know," says Kathya. "Besides which, even if I was willing to help you in any way at all- I don't think for one tiny moment you're capable of protecting me. You're just... no good."

Andro remembers how well he 'protected' Gallagher back on Spiridos. [i/]But that was different.[/i] "You are mistaken. And I can see there is no point discussing it further. Jelena?"

When Gallagher hears his comlink beeping, he quietly excuses himself from the debriefing of his sister before Master Korth can ask him who it is. Gallagher already knows when he brings the comlink to his mouth, out in the hallway.

"Zaland, we've rescued Kellan!" Gallagher says, quietly but excitedly. "We apprehended Rundell and I saved her from a terrible fall. You should've been there, it was fantastic! Most heroic thing I've done... well, ever!"
