As for the others- no, the Dark Siders had a REALLY rough ride. They had to learn the hard way! You are being heftily advised due to the danger of your situation.

(oh yeah. We definitely ****ed up majorly in our first fights, and didn't really have anyone to advise us. So don't worry, Jazz, you'll get used to it)

What, you mean winning the last fight with like one person standing and a shitload of luck wasn't our professional plan all along?

Strange as it may seem, it actually wasn't.

Really cause by now you think we would have perfected it into a plan 😛

(Good to hear you guys aren't having all the fun. And yes, let's use Ward. No point saving FP's if I'm too dead to use them.)

Ok!

As it happens, the bad guys go first again. Andro DOES get a Riposte on one and certainly rolls enough for a Cleave kill (which does work on Riposte as that is a free attack and can get all the benefits of an attack). My question- does Andro want to tap Cleave as well?

(I think he should go for it. The free points of protection should help keep you up!)

When Jelena runs panting to Kathya's quarters and finds them empty, she turns to Roan.

"They aren't here," Jelena says. She tries her comlink again, then looks at the device. "The reception! Sienar's private quarters had poor reception, Roan, that room he brought us back into behind his office. Andro must be there!"

Can the Jedi get to Andro any faster if we use Dash?

You will long exhauast all your force points before you got there.

(Yes, Tap Cleave, please.)

In that case, Jelena will run along as they have been doing, heading for Sienar's office.

Ok then! The bad guys go first, and that gives Andro his Riposte which actually goes in at 19 dice, ten of which roll successes! That being a Cleave attack, that gives him ten points of 'insulation' against Battle Droid attack. And of course, it killed both droids thee too.

Wars ensures that all the top droids miss. And four successes are scored against him by the others, which are all fended off, reducing his protection to six successes now.

Kathya gets him for another four points though. Andro leaps up..and passes his agility roll! He hacks down another droid upon landing.

Okay, you really need to start declaring your swaps, Andro. I had a plan for this turn involving the use of a Dodge and Weave tap (the Combat schtick, because that gives you a Defense of 6).

Right now, you can go after a droid and rely somewhat on your defensive points from tapping Cleave. Use Ward again.

(Oh, I thought you did the swap after the Ush posted results. So I couldn't swap any schticks out now, then? Also, do I understand right that the points from the Cleave Tap 'roll over' to the next round?
So, I will go for that Droid, use Ward. Swap Cleave for Dodge and Weave.)

(Yes, they roll over until they are gone. And you declare swaps during the turn before you have what you want in. Example, Galder taps Forward Guard and declares he wants Balanced Guard to replace it, start of next turn it is that way.)

Going first, you do indeed hack down that droid. DSix out of ypour fourteen droid attackers then hit you suibsequently... precisely removing your remaining defence.

Kathya, however, rolls a string og sixes and inflcits six damage on you.

Your situation is now extremely dire. The one compensation is that it is now a Refresh turn.

Andro, you should refresh Cleave, then tap Dodge and Weave while making a Combat attack against a Super Droid. This will keep you mostly unhit except maybe by Kathya. Spend that last point on Ward.

Swap Dodge and Weave for Cleave after that, so you have it back in.

He's very unlikely to down a droid so the value of that is limited.

I'd suggest to

First swap in Forward Guard for Orthodox Guard, tap Dodge and Weave and attack with a Combat move (actually instead of attacking perhaps you can find cover? If there is any anyways)

Second to swap in Cleave for Dodge and Weave and tap Cleave and Forward Guard to gain a reasonable amount of protection from the cleave tap, using ward as defense

Third swapping in Orthodox Guard for Forward Guard, and tapping it.
With some luck that might keep you alive for three rounds.

Forward Guard doesn't actually provide any defence...

And yes, he can always go for cover.
