In the same respect how can I give Konvikt any credit when he was beating these characters with thunderclaps and rocks. You cant have it both ways. Thor fought with skills,its just Rulk crushed him. Rulk is impressive.

I honestly don't see a way for rulk to get a win against superman before superman BFR's him, whenever superman is literally fast enough to make rulk be a statue to him.
Let me ask you this, if you were fighting someone so much slower than you, that they looked as if they werent moving, would they hit you? If you say yes, then I don't really know how to respond to that... Other than that would be a case of CIS. 🙂

I've seen seen Superman one hand throw a 30 ton robot into space. Unless Rulk has some magic stay on the ground ability he's going flying.
I've never got why Hulk supporters insist that the fight 'be like the comics'. If it was in the comics Superman would win because he's Superman and DC wouldn't allow a crossover where their star character lost to a loeb created mary su.
Rulk hasn't done anything more impressive than any other Loeb main characters.
Is this any differrent to Captain America beating Hulk and Onslaught or Supergirl owning her way through teams of top tiers. Loeb had Superman own a pastiche of the Avengers/ultimates and batman batkicking Captain Marvel.
As for Konvikt Busiek has admitted the fight was PIS, even stating how superman could of won in moments (ice breath, throw into space).
He's also said there'll be a re-match while Superman is still trinity mode, which will please fans who didn't like the previous battle.
His word on Konvikt speed is:

And you stop putting words in my mouth. I never once said superman would easily BFR rulk. Not once. What is to stop superman from diving under the ground and lifting an nice size chunk of it and tossing it into space? Or just zipping up behind rulk and tossing him into space? The laws of gravity still apply and supes has lifted thousands of times more weight than the rulk weighs, so what is stopping him from doing that? Is the rulks willpower alone going to keep him grounded? I mean superman can do all this before rulk could bat an eye, so you tell me what is to stop superman from doing it, because I can't think of any reason other than the plot of a story...
