You want the narrator to state a precise figure for his speed every time he speedblitzes? It doesn't happen in the comics, mostly because its not necessary to the illustration.

Pick up Action comics # 775 Superman vs The Elites, hell of a speedblitz and a great story that argues for Superman's high minded principles against the simpler no holds barred approach of many cynical anti hero types. It shows Supes being a total bad ass without sinking to the level of killer against almost insurmountable odds. Again, I'll never forget that issue.

Im not saying Superman isnt fast but that we have no idea how fast.

I agree, there have been no on panel proof of how fast he is BUT I do have something that the writer of infinite crisis provided us. I'll post the scan later. He basically show us how fast and strong superman is. I hope it helps.

Im not saying Superman isnt fast but that we have no idea how fast.

yo uhave no proof, red hulk has never faught ANYONE with speed, he has no feats that indicate he could keep up with superman, all superman needs is on epunch to send red hulk into orbit

How about casual speed blitzes that he has done to the characters he has fought and again we have no proof of how fast superman was moving during his speed blitz or how fast red hulk was moving when he blitzed she hulk and iron man and lets not forget that red hulk made it back from the moon to earth is seconds.

The same reason you use flight as combat speed and maybe you need to look at the red hulk and she hulk fight, he blitz the hell out of her alone with iron man. Red hulk has speed but we just dont know the sum of speed and supes best attacks dont have sh** on mjolnir which red hulk took to the face and smiled.
