Shift has even more reason for that...25 points my ass... while being Metamorpho 2.0 with "1.0" version being low-end mid-herald\high-end low-herald.
metamorpho is VERY overrated in that tier thread. 😬 metamorpho himself should be high-meta at most. no way he wins a clear majority over people like sinister, nimrod or ironman. no. way. and he has the far greater experience edge on shift.
as for regeneration--digi brings up shift, but i could prettys easily question minion as well, who has been completed severed in half and healed immediately and actually made JOKES about it while he kept on fighting! he's also (as digi showed) served a ground zero blast.
shift's healing=minion's healing so if shift is banned for it, minion should booted too.

Minion's been knocked out before, he's been infected with sh*t, he's been overloaded. The cut-in-half scans are fairly inconclusive...he looks cut, but not severed in two. Nutshell: there's fairly normal ways to take him out. Sick healing, granted, but not illegal.
And most at this level worth their salt have survived nukes at or near point-blank range. Are we going to ban Tony now too?

Point is, you can disperse Shift over a ridiculous area and he can still regen quickly. Fortunately I was able to do that in our match ( 😉 ) but something tells me that if you dispersed Minion's molecules over a few kilometers, he'd be down for the count.
Metamorpho may be overrated, but we're simply talking about regen abilities, which are capped for this tourney. Sand was just banned for a nearly identical reason.

I know that mid herald placement for him=WTF... high meta- low herald is fair. Experience edge- won't say that (Shift has access to Metamorpho's memories, fragmented but still... in Outsiders #8 (or 10? need to look up) they're discussing their childhood memories. Something about dogs etc...
Though I hate to be a b*tch ,and don't want to handicap my opponents before battle. I just say that Shift looks more like 30 pts than 25...
Though he reforms slower if getting blown up by outside sourse.

and the thing with you first line of reasoning--first off, i don't undestand what you're getting at . . . 😕 and secondly, it's about general showings and how a character fares. you say he's mis-tiered. show proof of him doing or beating someone out of his class on anything like a regular basis. i know for a fact you won't find any such proof. prove to me that based on feats metamorpho should be mid-herald! that's never gonna happen either.
metamorpho should be high meta. shift was beaten by metamorpho and has less experience (cdb was partially right--shift shared SOME of rex's memories and battle skills--not ALL) and he has never once been shown beating anyone that would place him above where he is.
stop SAYING he should be more--start SHOWING it if you'd like to convince anyone.
