Jaden's pretty much right. It's stupid, really. You have to act all serious, quiet, and assertive. I did that a few times to just go out with "this chick" or "that chick". I didn't like doing it because it wasn't honest.
I was a nice guy. That seemed to do just fine for the most part.
I find that the nerdy quiet types are the best type of girl. My wife isn't the nerdy type but she is quiet. The nerdy types are usually treasures because most dudes leave them alone and the only dudes going after them are other nerds. These quiet nerdy types can be very attractive. They usually go head over heels for just about any guy who puts forth any measure of effort. Schmooze them and they're yours for life.
If you do find a lady, make sure it's clear, in an un-a**holish way, that you have certain boundaries. if you don't it will be hard to establish those boundaries in the future once you become frustrated.
Also, NEVER withhold sex from your lady. Give it and give it often. Make sure she gets hers, as well. I've met several couples which contained and wife or girlfriend who hadn't had an orgasm yet during sex. Sometimes, they were married for years and it hadn't happened. That pisses me off. EAT IT if you have to!!! Don't be a jerk. If your lady friend finds out that sex can actually be awesome with the right guy, she'll want it much more often. BTW, not all girls get "happy" with just plain old intercourse....you may have to use your hands. She can, if she wants, but I think that's a little inconsiderate.
So, to recap, be nice, be funny, and be considerate during sex. If you do all of those things, then you are a long term boyfriend/husband.
Also, making a load of money and knowing how to manage it is very attractive to girls looking for a long term relationship. I posted a nice scientific thread on that...women are literally programmed to be attracted to the "stable and resourceful" male. Get a job and education, bum.
Get money because thats an image that they can be spoilt and in the long run spoil their children which they must have so make the image of "i want a baby too" clear regardless of what you really want otherwise they wont be interested.
Depends on what type of person you want really, a long lasting relationship is hard to come by, especially if you stck to your plans strongly on having a loving and meaningful relationship then it wont go far because once they get a baby their interest in you is sliced like a lemon in a blender. You may even become just an object to sponge/leech money from for them depending on how deprived they are.
oh yeh and cars, mainly Socially impressive things for younger girls/women because their overall image is more important than most things, especially arrogent self centered girls but usually their friends are one of their most important aspects and whats better than bragging to a group of friends who has a more profitable boyfriend? hell love and meaningful does not come under "social fame"

i would suggest dating a couple girls you don't really care about for practice..
my advice would be don't overestimate 'being yourself,' you have to put on a front at first then slowly reveal your real self throughout the course of the relationship, cause for most people it's too much to handle in one dose. if you say whatever's on your mind you're just going to piss them off or scare them away. don't worry about the ethical nature of this advice because she's going to be pulling the same thing on you.
and if you say something that pisses a girl off don't try to defend your point with logic.. they dont like that. either alter the meaning of what you originally said or apologize and take the L. never speak of a relationship or love in practical terms.. you have to exaggerate everything and attach deep emotional feelings to any point made about 'you and her.'
