and don't call her back until she calls you back. don't sound needy in the message either. just be regular about it. as if you not going with her tonight wasn't that huge a deal cause really, it isn't. "going on a movie-date" . "zzzzzzz"
But when she call you back soon enough i'd say something like this:
what happened that day? know just to know, but the point you wanna make is for her not to do that sh*t again or you'll simply find someone else to go with and that "you're not playing" and look her dead in the eye and ask her if she understands. And ask again until you get a yes. don't beg for the "yes", demand it. Take charge. But don't get all upset but don't be a wuss. Be a bit in her face and be serious. Let her know that you're serious. And ask her to dare you to do it and dare her to stand you up again. see if that works. just be ready to back it up. you don't have to tell her who you'd go with. a guy or a girl that's a friend. Let her imagination deal amd run with it.
and see how fast she comes around.

guess it's my relaxed disposition that causes me to be so..

Unless you're a dude is really hot or famous, you prolly don't want to be with a girl who approaches you. Depends on the situation, but...yeah, stear clear of that unless you want a kid or an STD.

I don't know about that. Well, I'm not sure how much things change as people get older, but at parties and stuff - it's almost always girls who approach me.
