A Place For My Head (RP Thread)

Carpathian kept his eyes closed as he concentrated "something of your beauty shouldn't be left to die or even thought of being killed. now just hold still, it's almost complete." the process was almost done but it was still a slow process. he concentrated more and also helped with exhaustion. the heard muffled cries and knew the great cat was soon about to regain its mobility

Mara jumped to her feet and crouched, preparing to pounce on Carpathian. Lin opened her eyes and shook her head. "Mara its ok... Leave him be for a moment."

Carpathian opened his eyes and fell backwards, the spell done "it is healed. it may be sore from the damage that was done there but it is healed" he panted and closed his eyes again, trying to stay awake

Lin sighed and stood up to leave, stopping as Carpathian moved to lay down. "Hey.. You gonna be ok on your own?" Mara walked over and nuzzled Lin, itching to leave.

Carpathian nodded, still out of breathe "i'll..be..fine" he smiled slightly and fell backwards, passed out from exhaustion

Mara's whiskers twitched and she moved to lay beside Carpathian. "Mara... Come on now, lets go." Mara didnt move. "Mara! He said hed be fine come on." Not even a flick of her tail came from the cat. Lin sighed and sat down on the other side of Mara. "Stubborn Puss."

Carpathian opened his eyes slowly, his body still weak "its fine...i just need to rest for a bit" he took deap, slow breathes and closed his eyes again "no need for concern"

She rolled her eyes and snuggled up to Mara's back, the great cat had wrapped herself around Carpathian and was now purring loudly. "Psh... The only one who is worried is this soft hearted fuzz ball." She looked over at him from where she sat. "You thirsty?"

Carpathian nodded from his spot on the ground "very...and you have a great cat here. Mara is it? thats a beautiful name for a beautiful creature. and whats yours?"

She pulled the cork from her water skin with her teeth and crawled over to pour the water into his mouth. She spat the cork out and put his head in her lap. "Lin."

Carpathian smiled "and such a beautiful name for a beautiful creature...one like i have never seen with my own eyes but heard about with my own ears." he closed his eyes and continued to breathe deeply

She sighed and put the spout to his lips. "Just drink."

Carpathian did as he was told, taking a few sips and shook his head, siganling to stop "thank you my dear. i'm sorry about that whole ordeal. but i had to stop you's"

She returned the cork to the hole and put the water skin away. "Why is that?" She pulled out some dried meat and pulled bits of it apart and offered it to him.

Carpathian shook his head and found a mint leaf on the ground and sucked on it "non-followers of the Gods i follow are killed at a certain point of this forest. i had to stop you because i didn't want a creature of your beauty to be killed so merclessly" he looked away and watched the ground with contempt

She shook her head and gave a piece of meat to Mara. "Why would you do that?"

Carpathian felt his face grow hot "it is hard to say...maybe i'm not as cold hearted as i tend to act." he looked up into the elf's eyes and felt more blood rush to his face

Lin blushed and starred down at the dark elf for a moment. "Um.. Well as much sense as that makes I'm gonna have to say I dont understand." She stood up and moved to her bag, pulling out a curry comb and using it to brush through Mara's coat. "How long till you can move again?"

Carpathian watched as his body shook "shouldn't be too long...i give it about a couple of minutes." he looked away slowly and closed his eyes again and sighed "getting out of here alive will be hard for you...but i'm sure we can manage"

She frowned and looked ove her shoulder at him. "We?"
