A Place For My Head (RP Thread)

Carpathian stopped next to her and bent down, trying to free her foot. he slipped it out with great difficulty and picked her up and ran again "it was ademon cast out of the great divine and sent to torment those who were to cast wrong judgement. its killed more than death itself has" he ran next to Mara and seen light "we're almost there"

Lin blushed and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Why is the clearing so important?"

Carpathian kept looking forward "its the end of the plains...the plains of death" he looked back and seen Baahl rush through the trees. it let out a roar that shook the ground

Lin looked back and screamed. "OH DEAR GOD WHAT IS THAT?!" Mara looked back and growled, slowly starting to run faster.

Carpathian ran faster and looked back "thats Baahl...hes grwon a little bit since the last time i watched him" he looked ahead and sighed "you shouldn't have turned back"

She frowned and looked ahead, watching the clearing get closer. "If I didnt turn back then I would have gone deeper into the woods."

Carpathian let a small laugh escape his throat "i meant just now. you should have looked straight the whole time" Baahl ran up behind Carpathian and they got closer to the clearing. its tail reached out amd grabbed him by the leg, making him throw Lin to the edge of the forest

Lin shook her head at his coment, soon landing with an ooff! She rolled a ways before pushing herself to her feet, trying not to put weight on her bad leg. "Oh no.. Mara!" She growled and pulled Lin onto her back, fighting the pain from the monsters tail. They hurried back into the forest to help carpathian.

Carpathian unsheathed his axe and hit the demon's tail, only slightly cutting it. "damn it! what have they fed you besides mortals?" he looked at Lin "no!! go back...now!"

She shook her head and pulled the mechanical pole from her back. "No! He'll kill you!" Mara lept into the air and Lin tapped the creatures tail with the stick, electricity ran up from the handle and into the monster.

Carpathian felt the jolt rush through him, making him drop his axe. his body went limp as Baahl shook and roared with rage and pain

She pulled a blade from her boot as Mara leaped into the air again. She sliced at the gash Carpathian had made already. "Hang on. Sorry but I had to do it."

Baahl yelled out as his tail was cut off. his arms lashed out and hit whatever he could find. his roar woke Carpathian up "what..."

Lin caught Carpathian, but he was too big for her and his weight pulled her off of Mara's back and onto the ground beside Baahl. "Welcome back." She pushed herself to her feet. Her knife was laying too close to Baahl for her to reach for it. She cursed and tried to move away from the creature. but her ankle wouldnt support her weight. Sadly, they were too close for Mara to come and get them.

Carpathian handed her his axe and unsheathed his katanas "thanks...i hate demons" he ran at the creature and sliced at his head but hit its wings as it ducked with grace. he turned back and plunged the blades in its back, only to realise the creature didn't notice

She sighed and looked down at the axe in her hands. With a grunt she threw the axe at it's face, hoping to embed it into its skull. "HEY UGLY! DOWN HERE!" She yelled to get its attention away from Carpathian.

Baahl growled and looked down, its jaws unhinged to devour the lf in a bite. Carpathian tired to free his katanas from the demon "no! run. i can handle this!"

She shook her head and watch him from where she stood, picking up rocks and throwing them at the creature to keep its attention. "No! I'm not leaving you here to deal with this on your own!"

one of the katanas slipped out as Carpathian struggled to keep on. he sighed and brought the blade to Baahl's neck and founs a small soft spot. "right where it always is!" he shoved as much of his blade into the spot and fell as the creature shook wildly

Mara jumped up and caught Carpathian, pulling him away from the creature as Lin limped over.
