Actually i read the novel, they were equals and vader nearly kills him in the duel but he got lucky and then he overpowered vader when he relentlessly threw everything at him and kept charging and hacking him, so in a way he used strategy to put vader on his ass.

Besides, in the novel SK uses force lightning on vader but it barely did anything serious to him.

But yea, he is more powerful than vader, but hes not that far ahead.

In the game it's strategy too: Vader throws something at Galen, Galen grabs it and throws it at vader, vader grabs it (rather easily) , and while vader had his vision blocked with the object infront of him Galen was charging a force repulse which he unleashed once vader gets the object out of their way.

From what i saw he was standing right behind Galen.

He was right behind the Emperor and got knocked the **** back when the energy detonated.

Well the blast was massive and affected quite a large area so yea vader got caught in between.
