No. Aleema states on panel that they are brimming with Dark Side power now. And they weren't before Ragnos' arrival. He gave them a boost. Whether it was from marking Kun as Dark Lord of the Sith or not, I don't know or care. (It's speculation anyway.)

But, then again, I've argued that Palpatine's "power" (Force mastery) is still greater than Luke's. I won't argue natural power or even necessarily what is applicable to combat.
