This is just extreemly stupid. Yes the fact that they are celestials that is cosmic beings who make skyfathers tremble and laugh of the attacks of multiple skyfathers and the asgardian destroyer empowered by earths pantheon of gods tells us that they are hella durable. When superman was present in the fight between DS and the source was any attack actually directed at him? If not then bringing it up is completely irrelevant. Lord i cant believe u actually are trying to compare the durability of superman to that of a celestial.
😱.

😱.

No, no attacks were directed at him. And he was standing at least 10 miles away, because he mentions (or the narrator does) that everything within a 10 mile radius was being destroyed by their power output.

And he was still being blown around.

Also...I'm too lazy to read all this. WTF is this about Superman being able to phase people into other dimensions?

Juggy is the weak link, team 2 FTW.

How is Cain the weak link when Supes is vulnerable to magic and Konvikt doesn't have enough feats to place him above Cain? Cain is the most durable fighter in the battle.

He is too slow and Supes can mind rape him. The only thing that can win this battle is Thor beating Convict and Superman at superspeed.

Please explain why Juggs in the weak link.

That was a joke, right? Please, please, please tell me you were joking. 😐

Hardly. Due to Carver's stipulations (made so the Marvel team can't lose,no bfr,no speed-blitz) Juggernaut is basically unstoppable here (more so than usual).

I changed my mind when I read Rulk issue 6.

Why? Because Thor came out of nowhere and cheap-shotted Red Hulk a few times? Because he couldn't do what regular Hulk did (knock him out in 2 punches)?

To say the least, I find this so-called reasoning of yours flawed. It's completely asinine to change one's entire perspective based on ONE single issue. Not to mention the fact that nothing in that comic proves Thor would beat Superman.

And besides, Current Thor =/= Classic Thor. Current still has the Odin Power.

Btw, it's so cute how you give so much benefit of the doubt to Marvel characters, rather than DC ones. This just helps show your bias.

This was all that needed to be said.

Again,in a forum fight Thor can godblast him for the easy win.

What a horrible misconception. In EVERY single instance that Thor has used the godblast, it's taken him quite a bit of time for the blast to "warm up" so to speak, plus he has to pray, etc. He has to do a myriad of convoluted pre-blast stuff in order for it to work. What's Superman going to do in the mean time? Stand there like the douche bag from Austin Powers yelling "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" for five minutes?

Doubtful. We're talking about a guy who has the speed to rebuild an entire city in mere moments.

A godblast against someone like Superman would be a terrible mistake for Thor to make.

OMG. Thank you. I've stated this soooo many times. The God blast only works on Giants and really slow beings like Juggernaut.

You do know that once Thor has fired the Godblast he can keep it going for a prolonged period of time right?

That and compared to some attacks in comic books the godblast ain't that slow to charge up. Taking a moment or two at best depending on how much effort he is putting into it.

To say that the Godblast would only work on slow people is logically stupid. First off the godblast would work on a good many "fast" people.

Martian Manhunter, Orion, Hermes, Balder, Quicksilver....

Maybe not Superman level speed but to say it only works on the slow and giants is laughable.

Well then show us anyone moving at Superspeed and getting hit with it. Please. Do. Show. Us.

First off you know no such thing exists.

But just to shut you up. The fact is that because Thor has not used the Godblast on someone moving fast does not equate to it not being able to be used on someone going fast. The logical idiocies in that statement are boundless.

First off state to me why Thor could not use it on a fast person other then him not having used it on a fast person before.

Or should I ask you showing me where Superman can speedblitz someone moving over the speed of sound. Show me Superman T-VOing a magical being when not merged with Kismet.

There is such a thing as a logical jump where we know the possibilities exist because the nature of the attack. THE GODBLAST IS A BEAM OF ENERGY BEING LAUNCHED AT SOMEONE. The insertion of speed does not negate the fact it is A BEAM OF ENERGY BEING LAUNCHED AT SOMEONE.

As the effectiveness of the attack on speedsters. I'm assuming someone has to be both incredibly fast ie Flash, or both Fast and Strong enough to break Thor's concentration which Superman does have. Which is why I never said he could use it on Superman.

But the claim that it can only work on slow people is in fact stupid, as there are people weaker and slower than Superman who couldn't do it.

The very fact that Thor has to summon the Godblast is enough of evidence to me that he can't summon it before someone with super speed moves out of the way, out of the battle, or clocks him. nice try tho.

Thor Solo's Superman and Konvict? You should be banned for such blatant fanboyism.
