It is illegal to publish material attributing opinions/views/beliefs to people they don't hold. It is equally illegal to publish such material about corporations...surely it is illegal to do it about Churches too?

Nothing there makes it not a religion unless you have some sort of completely insane standards that have nothing to do with religion. Not to mention . . . everything you know comes from BILL MAHER AND SOUTH PARK.

explain to me then i need to be made enlighten...
and it is not my standard i said that mormonism was not taught or even mentioned in my courses or books of cultural awareness theory of knowledge or religions of the world.. and im missing one more class cant recall.. either way it was never in the courses of religion.

Unless you can prove that the course covered every over religion and religious sect ever followed by mankind in the entire history of the human race that's not evidence of anything. In fact even if you could prove that the course covered all of that it still wouldn't be evidence that Mormonism isn't a religion.

I think the Writers made a good point though when they said allot of the Mormon beliefs may seem wacky- but then again most religions (they actually mentioned Catholicism) have wacky elements...

i am not saying it isnt are you listening and the rilgion of the world covered spiritual believes from the first known concept of animinism polytheism and montheism and tracked its growth from each society.
i dont know why you are so defensive and dont really care, either you know or you dont know about mormonism. if you do then again explain if you dont then say it.

I'm not being defensive. I'm disagreeing because I believe you are wrong.
Religions believe in a worship a supernatural force or forces. Last I checked Mormons do exactly that.
