He also had to go faster than light to get to Darkseid.

Notice how Wonder Woman is down just by a side-effect of Superman's rampage twoards Darkseid/Batman's body aswell.

I just read that, but was it confirmed that that attack was Kryptonite - based? I mean it most likely was, but I don't believe it was stated. Some people are really anal about these things.

It's not what happened actually.

When Supergirl and GL tried to break the forcefield Darkseid was OK (issue 5)

When Superman broke it, Darkseid was already shot by Batman in issue 6.

We don't know if Supes could break the shield either had DS not benn shot by Batman.
