i'm not saying they are seperate but nation building is an entirely different policy than military intervention...and i'm not even saying nation building is always bad...because south korean after the korean war is a great example of what it can achieve (read the Gregg Brazinsky if you can get a hold of it)
but seeing as al jazeera is a more reliable, balanced, and less biased privately controlled media organisation compared to bbc, i think the opposition doesnt hold enough weight.

They do have such bases (journalists have gone there). Blowing them up and shooting them is not a very effective solution in the long term. Piracy is difficult, dangerous and not very rewarding unless your in charge, I doubt a lot of people become pirates because they really want to.

Neither is diplomacy, so I'm opting the bomb solution. (and the SE Asian camps too, for good measure)
While true on the feeling of piracy out of necessity, even if the richer nations came together to build Africa into a utopia (which would never happen, Africa is too rich in resources to step away from), there would still be pirates there.
What are your thoughts on a solution?

😂 But diplomacy has the benefit of leaving the"nuke 'em" door open if it comes to that. Once you start tracking down pirates and blowing them up negotiation is pretty much impossible and is almost sure to make them escalate.

Sounds alright, but you'd still be paying off pirates. See, I want to piss them off, make them piss their pants off in fear, like bullies, it's the only thing they understand, a solid punch in the mouth.
Edit: You know what would be epically comical, plant a dummy ship for them to hijack and load the cargo with anthrax. Imagine the surprise when they open up a crate labled "bling bling" and all they get is some white powdered death to the lungs.
