First of all when was it stated that that spanish or arabic people were able to say that word?

Second no one is stealing anyone's style, you may think so but no. Most words and languages are derived from Latin IIRC.

Fact: One word in this part of the world may not mean the same thing in another part of the world, cultures are different, what you may find as not offensive may be offensive to other people.

Mami and Ma may be accepted in spanish cultures but it has reached a point where it is taken and adopted b the world and given an entire new meaning. Look at the word gay.
