U.S. Army here I come

So ya, I decided to join the Army, something I have always wanted to do but never had the opportunity until now. I have met with a recruiter several times. In fact I am going to the MEP center Wednesday for my physical and to be sworn in. My MOS is Internment/Resettlement Specialist 31E. The only bad thing is they want to ship me to Missouri for basic training on February 5th, which sucks because not only will I miss my son's 3rd birthday but I will miss my brother's wedding 🙁
My recruiter said he is going to try to get my ship date pushed to where I want it but I have a feeling it wont happen. Anyways I just wanted to let you all know I will be leaving KMC for a while. I will miss you all. 🙁

Will they make you take out your piercings for basic? I've asked this question two other times, so I apologize if I'm becoming a pest. i'm wondering because you would have to take them out and your holes will probably heal up.

A few words of advice, try not to get shot...getting shot is bad...if you get shot...you might die...and that would be bad, I am sure this information will help you 🙂
