all PPG feats are cartoony and not the least bit real. They do not have any fingers for christ sake. It was a kids show and poorly animated. Just bringing the PPG's into this shows how weak your logic is.

Blade has grossed more money than Blade or Elektra. Over the last two decades Blade has grossed more money than all of Elektra and DD media durring the time. Call up marvel, Blade has made a lot more money for marvel.

You know how much money Blade grossed Marvel? However much New Line Cinemas paid for the film rights when they optioned the movie, which based on the budget of the first film and the state of superhero movies at the time, likely wasn't that much.

The only thing Blade has done for Marvel is garner lack luster sales in every title he has ever appeared in. Even Captain Britain has lack luster sales, and it is the best book Marvel has on the market right now and has draw for not only Blade, but a whole cast of great characters (Pete Wisdom, Black Knight and Captain Britain). Blade can't support an ongoing series to save his life, and god knows hes had more than enough chances to do it. To suggest that he has the same draw power as DD, who has support his own monthly series since he was created, is absurd. And FYI the DD movie grossed more money world wide then any of the Blade movies did individually.

Blade's about as popular as genital warts and just as hard to get rid of, I mean he has a new series that gets cancelled every couple of years since the movie.

He never said it was a stalemate. He said he wanted to show that Blade was on the same level as the popular characters, but he never said he wanted to show Blade was Wolverine's equal.

That's what he said, and maybe it is his actual opinion, but Blade didn't look very impressive at all in that comic. It really did look like Wolverine could give a rat's ass about him. His work failed to show how Blade is Logan's equal, so in the end, Guggenheim's opinion isn't anymore valid than anyone else's. 😬

It could still be argued that what the writer intended takes precednce. To be fair I think there are different interpretations on what happened, he tried to make it look like they were equals but he just didnt think carefully. Its defintely not clear cut.

DD and Elektra are not even in the same galaxy as Batman and Superman. Everyone knows who Batman and Superman are. People will recognize Blade from his movies and all his success of the past two decades. Only comic fans know DD and Elektra, and maybe a few people remember them from their lame ass movies. I mean the poor people who actually wasted money on their movies. Stop talking out of your ass. You have to look at this from a broad perspective not just from what you think.
