Elektra vs Blade

DD and Elektra are not even in the same galaxy as Batman and Superman. Everyone knows who Batman and Superman are. People will recognize Blade from his movies and all his success of the past two decades. Only comic fans know DD and Elektra, and maybe a few people remember them from their lame ass movies. I mean the poor people who actually wasted money on their movies. Stop talking out of your ass. You have to look at this from a broad perspective not just from what you think.

The Daredevil movie made more money then Blade 2 (the highest grossing of the Blade Trilogy). It made more money because more people went to see it. So more people saw the DD movie (which Elektra was in BTW), and more people buy the DD / Elektra comics... but Blade is more popular and widely known? Your argument doesn't make any-sense, you should really stop embarrassing yourself with your moronic musings about the nature of these characters and their popularity, anyone with a passing familiarity with either of them knows you don't have a clue what are a talking about.

the blade movies as a whole are a whole lot better than the daredevil/elektra crap

The theatrical release of DD was slightly better than Blade 1 and marginally better than 3, Blade 2 was much better than DD, and the R rated DD directors cut was better then all of them combined.

Elektra was a piece of trash.

Most people had no idea who the hell Blade was before his movies. Most people still don't know he's a comic character, much less have actually read a Blade comic. Most people were sold by the action genre/vampire theme than mention of Blade.

The movies aren't being used to judge the fight anyhow, so that "popularity" noise is irrelevant. DD and Elektra are stars in the comic medium, whereas Blade is a B or C-list character; the outcome of this fight is being determined using what has been depicted consistently in that medium.

Admittedly, I've never read an Elektra or Blade comic. If you'd asked me about this fight before, I'd probably assume Blade would win a majority, based off of basic knowledge of their stats. What I've seen in the respect threads and a few cameo appearances, however, convinces me that Elektra is flat-out better than Blade.

The lightening and cinematography was great, it was a beautifully shot movie, the fights where well choreographed, Michael Clarke Duncan was a great Kingpin, Colin Farrell was a great Bullseye, and the Directors cut was actually a good movie.

Elektra isn't a star in the comic medium.

Compared to Blade she is. 😎

I know right 😆 😆

I guess I jumped the gun there, Mindset, but if she's not more popular than Blade, she's at least as popular.

Not really.

That's what he said, and maybe it is his actual opinion, but Blade didn't look very impressive at all in that comic. It really did look like Wolverine could give a rat's ass about him. His work failed to show how Blade is Logan's equal, so in the end, Guggenheim's opinion isn't anymore valid than anyone else's. 😬

So what the hell is AIDS a metaphor of, genius?

he wrote the story to be a stalemate, many people have seen it is as a stalemate, the only peopl eI've seen sate it was a victory in wolverines favor read the the story with an obvious bias (many of wolverine fans) or people who were exposed to it by wolverine fans.

Not really.

She's supported 35 issue comic runs, Blade can't get passed 12. She was also present in some of the best DD runs of all time. Any comic fan worth is weight in salt has read Frank Millers DD run, Blade doesn't have anything that even approaches essential reading.

I saw it as Wolverine having the upper hand, and I don't like Wolverine or his fans. awesome

By "Wolverine fans" you mean rational people who haven't deluded themselves into thinking Blade is (lol) as skilled as Elektra?

so basically we ignore what the writer wanted to depict (and some saw) in his own work for the sake of what a few fans believe actually happened? heck every other forum I go people say that the fight was a stalemate save for here. a fans bad comprehension should take credibility over the writers intention.

no, I mean wolverine fans, as in you.

I hope you realize no proof has been given that elektra is more skilled other than her beating daredevil. I have repeated myself enough times and these replies ignored, and yet you bring up the same point - elektra is more skilled because she's a ninja and beat daredevil...hardly proof.

Elektra still isn't more popular, sorry.

She had a supporting role in DD comics, that really doesn't say anything about her individual popularity.

Blade has had better success in movies, tv, and cartoons, which all bring more awareness to him in comics.
