no, I mean wolverine fans, as in you.

I hope you realize no proof has been given that elektra is more skilled other than her beating daredevil. I have repeated myself enough times and these replies ignored, and yet you bring up the same point - elektra is more skilled because she's a ninja and beat daredevil...hardly proof.

She has stalemated Shang-chi. She's retrained Wolverine. She's edged out DD. She's beat down Taskmaster. She's owned Zaran and and Razorfist one panel. Now I understand that you might not know who any of those characters are being as they aren't black, but I assure you they are all skilled fighters. Elektra is more skilled because she is one of the top three h2h fighter in Marvel. Her martial skill has enabled her to read minds, communicated telepathically, mind wipe people and use a whole slew of mystical ninja techniques. She's been trained practical since birth in the martial arts and she's excelled. She's used pressure points, she's used chi abilities, she's actually beaten people who are established as being skilled. What has Blade done?

Where's the interview?

It wasn't even the Guggenhiem who said it, it was the guy interviewing him...

*sigh* ABC logic. One Razorfist is lame. Two none of this proves she is more skilled than Blade

No proof. 😕

Impressing Shang Chi* twice.Re-training Wolverine.Looking good against Wolverine through skill.Incapacitating Logan during Enemy of the State.Owning the hell out of Zaran, some other good fighter and I think Taskmaster too. Beating other top tier mystical martial artists. Looking very good against DD (by the way a top tier) in their most recent encounter.Couple this with the fact that her training is far better than anything Blade experienced.

*The master of Kung-fu.In one of their encounters she beheaded a fly with a sword as Shang clasped it between two chopsticks.

edit. Let's not forget about an impressive display of pressure point feats.

no guggenheim stated he wanted to show blade was equal to all the characters he was putting him up against because he's always been put to the side, he said he wanted to give blade the big league spot he always deserved. In case you still can't comprehend this, you're going to tell me Guggenheim was going to show blade was equal to these characters by having him beat a weakened spiderman (some people have claimed making spiderman a vampire in fact weakened him), beating a weakened dracula (people again have claimed if blade beat dracula so easily, he couldnt have been that powerful), and Losing to wolverine (the obvious stalemate that concluded their fight has been interpreted as a victory in wolverines favor by a few)

all of these are solely her interacting with the marvel universe, Blade has proven himself to be the most skilled vampire hunter and defeated a 3-time hakido champion in combat, he defeat Varnae in armed combat, defeated dracula quite easily, and dracula stated blade was one of his greatest foe (not so for all the other heroes hes faced), he taken on wolverine and stated they were evenly matched, and S.H.I.L.D. tried to take control of him and make him their super-soldier (under mind-control, which I hear is supposed to hinder your performance, he took out two highly trained assassins) , Blade has also master every single weapon in his vampiric life-span and stated he can amputate a spider with his knives.

He felt that Blade was relegated to the D list corner of the Marvel Universe, and he said he wanted to put Blade in the big leagues. That doesn't mean he thinks Blade can beat Wolverine or Spider-man. Guggenheim himself never said Blade and Wolverine fought to a standstill, the interviewer did, and Guggenheim saying he felt Blade deserved to be in the big leagues doesn't translate into him thinking Blade could beat Spider-man or Wolverine either, it means he thinks Blade should be more popular and deserves more attention and respect.

...wow, no. It's stated all of the characters such has union jack, wolverine, and spiderman were put in to give blade the big league spot he's always deserved, it had nothing to do with making him popular as guggenheim himself stated he never really cared to check the sales.

And... which part of that do you think places him anywhere near someone like Night-thrasher in terms of skill, let alone Elektra? 😕

he wrote the story to be a stalemate, many people have seen it is as a stalemate, the only peopl eI've seen sate it was a victory in wolverines favor read the the story with an obvious bias (many of wolverine fans) or people who were exposed to it by wolverine fans.

1. Blade, under SHIELD orders to either capture or kill, broke into Wolverine's pad to ambush him. Wolverine told him to chill for a moment while he got a beer.

2. Blade stabbed Wolverine through the chest, and Logan's great cry of agony was "Ouchie."

3. Wolverine pinned Blade, put his fist under Blade's chin, and could've popped his claws at any moment.

4. Blade threatens Wolverine with the vampire vaccine, and Wolverine pretty much tells him to go f*** himself and eggs him on.

I don't see where Guggenheim successfully depicted Blade as Wolverine's equal. I can admit when he's beat or put to the test, but Blade simply didn't prove he could do either.

What do you think he ment by big league? He felt that Blade has been relegated to an isolated corner of the Marvel Universe, he wanted to bring him in the main fold and make him relevant. That doesn't translate even remotely into him thinking Blade = Wolverine / Spider-man.

😕

I have no idea what the comment about the Marvel universe is supposed to mean.

Do you even know who Shang chi, Logan Taskmaster, Zaran and Daredevil are? 😬

Are you trying to liken a nameless Hapkido champion to the above individuals?

Ok so Varnae and *lol* Dracula are amongst the finest martial artists in all of Marvel then, yes?

So Blade trying to capture then failing miserably while at the same time looking very poor against Logan means he is incredibly skilled because he himself said it was a stalemate? 😬

Blade took out two almost nameless assassins who are in no way shape or form fit to lick the boots of the top tier mainstream characters Elektra has impressed against.

Mastered every weapon? Good for him. Shame he hasn't beaten any martial artists of note with them then. I need to see evidence for this anyway.

Well Elektra beheaded a fly. This is better. 😉

Elektra's ma feats>>>>>>>>>>>Blade's.
