So you're saying Blade leaning over and whispering into Spitfire's ear has no bearing whatsover on the fight? Would you risk doing that to somebody you were fighting?

As much as Spitfire leting him lean in a whisper in her ear, had on the fight? lol

Spitfire had already beaten Blade at that point. she had disarmed him, he was no threat. Like I said, it was just another example of Blade acting like a big shit and make threats when he is in no position to do so. He leaned in and whispered in her ear "Let me kill you." Why? What else was he going to do...

Blade: "You've disarmed me and I'm at your mercy.... step back and let me kill you now!" dur

snoopdogg: Awesome! Another stalemate for Blade!!!!

So you're saying those swords were the only weapons Blade had on him? Really?

Blade gave up his position to lean over and whisper in her ear.

Sh!t if we want to get technical Blade was beating her h2h anyways.

He likely had something else on him (nothing that we could see in his skin tight outfit) but nothing that would have helped him in the current situation, he would have had to get it out, not something he could have done before Spitfire reacted.

What position? He had no advantage. Blade was in the exact same position as Spitfire (only she maybe a little worse because she had just hellfired his arm), only being vastly superior physically she held all the edges.

Or maybe she was only concerned with disarming him of his swords (which she did easily) and wasn't too concerned if he landed a whopping two blows on her? 😱

Ever notice how all Blade' stalemates start with him easily being disarmed and end with him pinned to the ground and the other person letting him up? Wonder what thats all about?

Obviously he can get weapons out of his suit at a wim, same way he staked her in a jet full of MI:13 agents without anybody noticing.

Spitfire took advantage of Blade whispering in her ear!!!! My god are you that blind? Blade was beating her h2h and realized he's gonna try and make this easy on her and gave her a ultimatum.

She tried to finish Blade by speed blitzing him, which didn't get her anything but a kick in the gut. She was trying to finish him but could not.

Blade only stalemated two people in Wolverine and Spitfire.

Weapons aren't going to teleport into his hands, he has to draw them. 🙄

My god man! He wasn't beating her in h2h, he kicked her once! Then she grabbed is arm and hit him with some hellfire... in fact... she is the one who stopped fighting to talk to Blade! Shesh. She had just disarmed Blade, he was no threat what so ever, she didn't take advantage of him, he took advantage of her good will, of her not continuing to kick his ass after she disarmed him to lean in an whisper in her ear. She held every single advantage, and Blade was just writing checks that he couldn't cash... again...

NO STALEMATES AT ALL 😱

She disarmed Blade, went for the finish and got kicked in the gut. Then they locked up in a stalemate Blade then leaned over giving up his position to whisper in her ear, she then took advantage of that to slam Blade on the ground. It's simple really.

He didn't have any problems drawing a stake in front of her and a plane full of MI:13 agents without them noticing. 💃

In what reality was that locking arms a stalemate? Blade was disarmed, and had no options. She complemented him, and instead of seeing his way out of a meaningless confrontation... he threatened to kill her again so she flipped him over. There was no stalemate, there was a lull in the combat where Blade could have saved face and opted out the fight... instead he decided he was going to make threats even though he was in no position to do so, so Spitfire had to take the fight to point where Blade was at her mercy to prove her point.

Its not like they were watching for him to stake her or expecting it. 🙄

Spitfire tried to finish Blade off but got tooled, that's when Blade started to fight. They were deadlocked in a armwreslting match in which she tried to win using hellfire. Blade then gave up his position to whisper in her ear, she then capitalized.

Blade was far from her mercy. That's why she commented him after she tried to finish him and came up shorthanded. She realized she better take advantage of Blade leaning over to her and it was a good move on her part.

How was he not at her mercy? He had no weapons, and no options, the only reason the "fight" continued after that point was because she didn't finish it instantly. Instead she decided to talk to with Blade... and Blade decided to threaten to kill her. She didn't take advantage of the situation, she had every advantage to begin with, what she did was flip over Blade after he acted like an idiot and started writing checks his body couldn't cash when she was trying to give him an out.

Blade is never and I mean never without any weapons. And in that fight he was doing better without his weapons. I'm gonna play one of your card once and I want to see how you respond.

Now, in the Blade/Logan fight you say Logan could have killed Blade many times during the fight. Now when Blade fought Spitfire he punched her in the face with the handle of one of his swords iirc. If he was trying to kill her why didn't he just stab her or slice her head off with the sword?

Namor seems to thing quite highly of Spitfire........

You're doing it again they werent all propelling down ropes. See first of all you try to belittle by saying they werent Koed now you are trying to belittle it by saying they were ALL propelling down ropes.

You're not a genuis, you're good at finding fault and anybody can do that, its not good debating.

Wolverine did hit him first.... 😕

Good God srank, the point is you are trying to negate Dracule beating Wolverine by the fact that Wolverine hit him first! Its irrelevant he lost.

Blade had his sword to her throat in issue #7 when the Mindless ones attacked.

Have they fought twice then?

Maybe he had some more weapons on his person, maybe he had his boot stakes. Who cares, anything he had was so well concealed that there was no evidence of it on his body, which means it would have been no help to him at all with out time for him to draw it... which he didnt have.

Because Spitfire is really fast and he need to take every opportunity he could to hit her even if it wasn't ideal or fatal? 😱

but is it really oppinion that Blade wasn't trying to kill Spitfire? 😕

No, the fight continued in issue #7. She wanted to prove to Blade she could control her urges, but took that opening to put his sword to her kneck. Kinda like she took the opening Blade left by whispering in her ear.

Like I said, Blade always has more weapons. Sh!t in the next issue he pulled a word sword out of there somewhere and in issue #5 he pulled that stake out of there. Plus, there is always the boot with the stake in it.

Just trying to prove that just because Blade didn't slice her head off instead of punching her means nothing even though he had the chance. Just like in the Logan/Blade fight.
