Her step mother was dead though 😕

No, she wasn't. Jamie's step-sister Rachel clearly says at the beginning "mom says hi" when she visits Jamie in the sanitarium. Jamie didn't kill anyone, ever. She only attacked her step-mom, which wasn't all her fault considering she was possessed by Myers' rage.

Ragging on Zombie's movies for having a trailer trash feel to them, when that's exactly the humor he's aiming for....

Did I once rag on the trailer trash feel he brings? No, all I said is that all of his movies have it and that he would be better suited for TCM.

Really? I haven't seen the 5th movie in ages, mainly cause I don't want to...

But yeah I thought she was dead

You're right.

TCM did always have that southern backwood trailer trash mason/dixie feel to it anyway. A style that would perfectly fit in with his manner of directing. Who knows, maybe he'll do it. I'd be nice, in fact.

I'd be one hell of a TCM movie, i know that. One i'd be in line for on day one.

I don't think we will see another TCM remake/new vision, it would probably be a sequel if anything.

Meh. Anything could happen.

There's already a planned "reimagined/revisioned" Halloween coming out next summer by the W bros.

Nope, watched the film this past Saturday, she wasn't dead. My mom caught on to it and said she thought she was dead as well, but she wasn't.

I know, I put up news about it. According to where I read about it, it's another sequel, not a reimagining of the first Halloween film.

yea you put it up but i had to double check on that and find out for myself and it's seemingly true.

so it's gonna be pt. 3 just with another director going in another direction, style-wise, same continuing story though.

ok.

It would be stupid and off putting to do another remake or even a reboot, imo. And as far as I know, Tyler Mane may return, as well as Scout, though I'm waiting to get confirmation from him via Myspace to know for sure.

All I know is

Spoiler:
Laurie better not be the killer..

I'd rofl if they actually remade Halloween 3.

Nope, it's already been confirmed Myers will still be in the game as a main player.

So he didn't die, again.

ok.

I don't think anybody would be bothered to remake that rubbish.

lol season of the witch..

i at last saw it in it's entirety in '08.

i seen it once years ago, like a quarter of the movie, but lost interest in it but as an adult i thought i finally watch it. it was your typical chessy 80's horror flick with a high nostalgia factor. Micheal Myers was in it. he was just on tv, ha.

like some little kids were watching either H-pt.1 or pt.2 on tv and you seen him like killing people. He came on tv a few times during the movie actually..(there was something cool about that, for some reason to me)

anyway, saw it. i don't regret seeing it. i won't see it ever again but it's w/e. don't remake it. just do a new H3.

I think that's the plan...to do a totally new H3, one where they claim Myers will yet again be taken in a whole new direction. I messaged Tyler Mane and am trying to find out if he's coming back for part 3, hopefully he remembers me from past discussions we've had and responds.

They sure did change his look a lot this time, next time they'll have him wearing a sombrero and a hula skirt.

I didn't mind the change...the look was great, and I found it looked better in the movie than in the pictures. Hopefully they'll keep that same look, or something similar. If not, then it's back to the coveralls, which I have no beef with.

i loved the grizzly look. He seemed a bit shorter in this one for some reason. Maybe it's because he had alot on. A coat, a hoodie, a big 'ol breard. wasn't he carrying a big 'ol bag too..?

He seemed the same to me, to be honest. And I did love the grizzly look as well. It all worked out for Tyler since he said that the beard helped a lot with the mask considering it'd no longer stick to his face.

I was also wondering, how come Michael wouldn't have had a beard by the time the events of the second half of RZH took place? Do you think they would've keep him shaven & clean until a certain point (i.e that point being when he got bigger)?
