I'm sure though the Americans were absent for nearly half of the war, they still contributed greatly to ending the war, did they not? Rather than the Spanish and the Dutch as Lil gave as an example, who I don't think actually fought in the war.
That would be a big YES!!! America was supplying Arms, Munitions, Ordinance, Fighter Aircraft Engines, Transportation(Trucks ,Jeeps), Fuel.
America supplied great Britain with a Million Vehicles. Russia, after Hitler broke the treaty, close to 4 million vehicles. It was a War of attrition, unfortunately, because The Germans were battle hardened and well disciplined Army,as apposed to the corn Fed, bumpkins that America was sending over there. It was a Slaughter. But, America, as such an Industrious Nation and from sheer size, could out produce a country the size of Alabama. I say this with the deepest respect for the American soldiers sent to fight because, they were lambs , sacrificed.

God help us if they think up something new.
And china would be the one to get the blunt end of it.

The Dutrch were atually defeated (and then continued to run a courageous resistance), to be fair on them. It's not as if they Switzerlanded out the war.
The Spanish actually were likely German allies, but Franco very wisely kept them out of it.
As for Ameircan supplies- very much so! Many, many of them to all those in Europe fighting Germany.
But, I think it should be pointed out, it wasn't a charity effort. They were given at full price and their merciless collection of loans post-war was scandalous (as even Truman eventually acknowledged).

They didn't join the war until Perl Harbor.Had Hitler not attempted to invade Russia, he would have had a certain victory in Europe. America was absent for great part of WWII.
That's the way I always see it, it was the Russians, though suffering terrible loses of their own, that delivered the biggest blow to the German War Machine and accountable for the collapse of Nazi Germany.
Invading Russia was Hitler's biggest mistake.

They teach us that we won by stats, but that our opponents got pissy and ganged up on us, like some whiny risk players that can't take a superior opponent handing them their asses with much less resources. Except for that we are taught that nothing bad happened.WE WERE INVITED! PUNCH WAS SERVED! CHECK WAS WITH POLAND!
LOL first of all.
Second of all what really is taught?

I as they are the only ones who could successfully invade the u.s.
Nah, I doubt it. If US and China were to go to war either it would be MAT, America wins and/or the two wear eachother out and another powerful country (Russia?) comes out and becomes the new world superpower.

MAT?
What the hell is MAT?
Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia? (This is the only thing I can think of...and it is obviously out of context.)
I think you meant "MAD", right? Mutually assured destruction?
