What the hell is MAT?

Multifocal Atrial Tachycardia? (This is the only thing I can think of...and it is obviously out of context.)

I think you meant "MAD", right? Mutually assured destruction?

Gross

if there's ever another world war, god help those opposing the United States...and I'm not saying that out of patriotism.

The United States has a black budget in the BILLIONS of dollars per year to develop new weaponry. Nuclear technology, 60 years ago......many nations have that now. We unveiled our Stealth aircraft 30 years ago. So uh....what sort of means of terrible destruction has the government been cooking up for the past 30 years? I'd hate to be the first country willing to find out......'cause once the veil is lifted and the weapons are exposed, sure bet they will be used relentlessly until victory is won.

I honestly don't think China would ever be a threat. Sure, if the armed forces of both nations were to meet up in the jungle.......China wins through attricion easily. I don't believe American soldiers would ever have to step foot in a jungle. We've probably got space age sonic weapons that could make people's heads explode by now. Just drop one in any area, takes out every living thing within a 10 mile radius.

I actually think that's why the world tolerates us. The U.S. government is a bit of an ******* in matters of foreign affairs. The only countries to oppose us are pretty much religious based. Those who don't care to die for their belief in an invisible man and all that it entails. I truely believe most countries want to stay on our good side no matter how arrogant and egotistical we are just in case. If shit goes down, they want to be there to say, "I've got your back....we're pals from way back".

look at this big ball of shit your pants.

stuff like this they tell us about. One can only imagine the stuff they don't.

America has an edge on Engineering...not a throne. Sure there's enough power to demand worldwide respect and all that stuff...but China's potential to kick trash is formidable.

I suspect Lockheed would like us to see as much of that stuff as possible.

I bet it's just like in America, except they talk in German.
It's taught that Merica saved the world?

Those Germans are pretty smart...it's too bad they still speak that ass backwards language and not Merican, though.

the german country was slowly invaded by foreign nationals with their agenda to over throw the majority.. the german ppl realizing that their were terrorist cells decided to uproot them and combat the threat, but the liberal media got involved giving bad press to the german government that the rest of the world got involved solely to push their own agenda kinda like what was and is happening to bush and obama and their war on terror.

I'm just saying, I doubt any other countries devote as much money to R&D secret weapons. Given the weapons and jumps in technology that were held secret in the past for a great deal of time, the amount of money we spend to research and develop new weapon technology per year and the amount of time that has passed since our last futuristic weapon tech was unveiled............one can't help but to think the current secret weapon technology developed in the last 30 years is light years ahead of the known weapon technology.

China's military strength has always been pure, simple numbers......not technology. It doesn't matter if you've got a billion people, all potentially carrying machine guns. You fly unmanned aircraft over the country side dropping sonic weapons, numbers are moot. China is only fomidable if you're standing across from them. If they're half a world away being engaged by unmanned aircraft utilizing weapon technology light years ahead of current known weapons.....not very formidable at all.

Totally agree. Other countries just don't care enough to make an expensive 30-year jump to catch up with America.

Yeah but I can't help remembering how they have so many Engineers graduating every year...

China has numbers, but to be honest they aren't cavemen either, and their tech IS pretty advanced, albeit not as much as the USA.
