I would say this: those speedsters who do blitz on a regular basis should have much more experience with that kind of attack than the Surfer (especially if they're trained h2h fighters). All else being equal, it would make sense for the Surfer to lose in a speedblitz contest. But that he's incapable of it? For me, that just doesn't make sense (but then, neither does Norrin's dropping like a stone every time he's knocked offboard).

Well a lot of people should be able to do things that logically fit within there powerset, but isn't that more like arguing with what you think as opposed to what there is?

I didn't, they just are not what I would quantify as movement speed since he has the aid of his board.

Surfer does everything he does on his board through his own mind. Maneuvers, dodging things within microseconds, etc.

If it's only straight line travel speed, then no, not in battle. However, if the GL is able to hit fast objects, or make his construct maneuver around speedy fast accurately, then yes.

So I ask again... does SS control the propulsion of his board. I'm not talking him telling it go x amount of speed I'm saying does he actually produce the propulsion of him and his board. Thus he would be able to fly and dodge at such speeds without his board.

No. However he can use blasts to propel himself through the air if need be.

The board is a exotic device, and besides if he is able to move this"limb"so fast while is not able to move the rest of his body...maybe because his board has properties of super movement but his actual physical body does not.

I usually don't agree with Galen but really some people make it out like surfer can fly around without his board dodging, punching and blasting away at the same speeds he does on his board. The fact is while he does control the movements of the board and thus has super fast insane reflexes that doesn't mean he has h2h combat movement speed alone. I've yet to see surfer speed blitz the way supes does on a routine basis without his board. The fact is his board allows him to go that fast not him. Thus if you put him in a h2h battle without his board having to propel himself are you people actually thinking he can keep up with Supes? NOTE: This is not a discussion about his H2H speed. Its about his overall COMBAT speed. In COMBAT he will be ON his board so why is ths discussion still going on?
