Soundwave and Starscream overpower Prime, seriously messing him up, and rip the matrix from within him. Leaving Megatron at the end of the movie with the Matrix, and the Autobots then being in a postion in the next movie where they have to regroup to reclaim it.
And judging by the content of the trailers so far, especially that last one, it is dead on.

More work seems to have gone into this one, making a bit more TFs-ish, like I said when I read the outline, I was impressed with a few new ideas.
and some just sucked.

These things're meant to have like molecular control over their bodies that allows them to imititate shit... like we see in the 1st one.
As if they couldnt get bit of rust off.... pah.
And the idea that its a walking stick that Jetfire's landing gear along with Jetfire's bent over appearance, suggest he is designed that way, shittily.
