This may be old news, but they remade "The Touch" for the movie. It's like a Bizarro version of the original. I can't wrap my mind around it.

I honestly they could've taken it a different direction and done much better, but they didn't, and it's not all that good in my opinion. Shame, the 80's version is neat.
I'm going to go ahead and say I don't mind the new version. Granted, you can't watch the video...if you do, there's no way to think the song is anything but fail. But just listening to it isn't bad. Obviously, most people reading this will be purist enough that they will (perhaps rightly) loathe the remake. The original is indeed badass, so it's tough to pull off. But I think it's hilarious, and kind of a cool remake.

Okay, so just like I said, here are some major spoilers that are gonna orgy their way into your brain one way or another. These are basically 89% tidbits, facts and confirmed plotlines in the movie that were gathered by the recent waves of toys that are due any day now, novelizations, my sources and so on.
Remember, don't highlight if you don't want the movie ruined, these tidbits have high chances of actually happening based on the advanced Showest screening I saw and a few people who worked on the film said. So a slight margin of error is better than a 50/50 chance in my opinion. I've been getting tons of PMs with questions about what I've watched annd what I know, so I'll just nail all questions I know in here. Anyways, let's spoil this movie.

Film most likely starts off in Shanghai with Epps and Lennox from the first film joined by Autobots who are there doing some Decepticon hunting.The two twins, Skids and Mudflap are combined into a pink and white ice cream truck that later gets ditched for their Chevy alt modes.
Sideways comes out, tries to flee.
Arcee, who is now three motorcycle female bots with one mind, give chase, some cool shit happens when Demolisher shows up and starts taking all of them on. Ironhide shows up, tries not to get f*cked up, then finally Prime shows up, jumps off bridge, and hangs on to Demolisher's face. They take him down, before he dies, he mutters some shit about the Fallen, oh noes...
Back at Sam's house, the fragment of the Allspark starts f*cking with the kitchen appliances, humor happens here, I guess. Bumblebee arrives, wrecks half the f*cking house cuz he's Bumblebee, everyone gets mad at him.
Sam has decided to go to college, cuz he wants a normal life. Bumblebee whines, I laughed.
Soundwave is in the film for sure. He hacks a satellite in space to obtain information on where the f*ck Megatron is.
Optimus has to meet with humans to decide if the Autobots should leave once the Decepticons are gone.
Sam finally attends college and we're shown that a girl named Alice is a Pretender. (A robot who looks like a human in TF'dom)
Sam starts going nuts because of the Allspark fragment thats burns cryptic information straight to his brain about the first Transformers to eever emerge and information about the first Primes. It also boosts his intelligence, which makes him seem like a nerd at school.
Several Decepticons, Constructicons among them, descend into the ocean where Megatron lies. They swim down to him, and get Scalpel, the doctor who looks like a Microscope, crossed with a roach, Johnny 5 and Wall-E perform a check up on him. Cute... He decides they need spare parts for his ass, so the Constructiondoodlers tear another poor 'Con's ass apart for his juicy manbot parts to rebiuld their flamboyant leader. They succeed, and all swim to the surface with looks on their faces that suggest they might play marco polo when they reach the surface.

Once the Cons regroup, Megs and Starscream have an argument. Classic. Megs lets Starscream live, for now, then decides to go kidnap those rascally little skamps that put him away last time.Megs abducts Sam, and girl Sam, I forgot her name, Megan Fox's character, whatevah.
The delusional yellow bastard, Bumblebee, arrives to save Sam, Girl Sam and other kid that's just sorta there for plot's sake. Screamer and Megs are about to brutally kick Bumblebee's ass, or rape him, when Ironhide and Ratchet show up, how convenient.
Prime gets there, late as always, and starts kicking major ass. He's able to kick Screamer and Blackout's asses when Megs comes from behind the way he excels, and kills Optimus, maybe...
For awhile nothing happens, just a lot of regrouping by practically EVERYONE. Megs tells Screamer he messed up, again.
Back to the Autobots, I really wish they would've had a faction symbol coming and going from the screen like in the '80's, but anyways. Prime isn't dead, he's just stasis--locked or some shit, but it's gonna take the rest of the movie almost to get him back online.
Megatron wants Sam to find out how to get to The Fallen, who promises him power, and in my opinion, possibly candy.
Sam, Girl Sam and a few other bots meet Jetfire, he's one of the old Seekers. He tells them to go to Egypt, kicks a little ass, and takes a nap.
Final bout takes place on or around the Pyramids, won't spoil basically the ending. Go watch it.
Now random stuff asked.
Ultra Magnus is not in this film.
Neither is Hot Rod/Rodimus
Nor Grimlock.
Set up very well for the third part.
Prime doesn't die.
Neither does bumblebee.
Wheelie is in the movie, I know... He's a Decepticon at the start, and kinda shifts, yay...
ROTF toys gimmicks and what not are going to officially be released May 30th.
