Now Batman has a pure soul..... Wonders why he has the name Dark Knight....I guess it was just a cutie nickname not because he actually has some darkness in his soul...

He is no angel but neither is Turpin but he has a noble soul i.e. he has a good spirit. 'Good' being the operative word in the description.

DS is a bit above Neron it must be said. And with DS struggling is welcome, the greater the struggle the more fattening your soul.
Even if Darkseid did possess Superman I doubt it would take Clark time to force Darkseid out. Who is more pure than Superman? Only the virgin Mary that would be the right answer 🙂

Um. Maybe FC DS was. You think classic DS is above Neron?

By classic you mean his avatars? right? Neron is above those.

But struggling will only increase DS appetite. As he told Supes the struggle of the noble soul is what he fattens himself on. It was also mentioned earlier in FC around issue 3 or 4.

Problem there, TP, is that once Darkseid's physical body was killed he did nothing. As I'm sure you remember, he was there when Superman used the Life Equation machine or whatever it was, taunting him. If he could have stopped Superman, he would have. He can't do anything without his body, except be that singularity. If DS doesn't have a body, there's no way for him to actually beat Thanos, either.

Radion, Black Racer, Wondy's lasso, the miracle machine, Metron etc.

A host of plot devices and godly weapons were needed to stop Darkseid.

Thanos has NONE of the above. And you think to match a fallen god, and btw, a singularity CRUSHES space/time. Thanos cannot withstand Darkseid's evil.

You didn't address my point at all. Darkseid has no feats post-body destruction. He can't do anything except continue that singularity. And btw, Thanos has survived singularities before.

The Radion poisoning had paralyzed his body - 3 billion humans and probably his spirit too. It was his spirit that had remotely corrupted Turpin initially if you remember.

Last I checked, a physical substance doesn't have any affect on a non-physical one, especially when that physical substance ceases to exist. Decent speculation, though.

As for Turpin, he was resisting for hours after being tortured by the other evil gods and repeated exposure to the formula.

All I know is Batman > DS

This wasn't what happened initially after his initial contact with DS, he began to lose his mind etc and DS influence was already taking a hold on his soul that's when he went to the other gods but he was far gone by then because even going to the factory was the result of the corruption.

Yes...well, I wasn't aware that DS was going to have months to corrupt Thanos, nor that Thanos' mind was as weak as Turpin's.

If DS tries to absorb Thanos, Thanos absorbs DS and becomes himself the singularity.

Don't ask me, he absorbed the Heart of the Universe, crazy absorbing feats.

(People, I'm joking, I know at times you get confused, don't ask)

Sounds reasonable to me.

DS corrupts the soul not merely the mind and Thanos has nothing to combat DS' corrupting influence. As mentioned earlier, Thanos doesn't have a noble spirit so he has nothing to resist DS with.

Then I guess either they or you don't know what noble means.

Enlighten.

Has Thanos shown courage or honor?

Then he has noble qualities.

Thus a noble spirit.

Thanos will go noble all over your face

You said the ALE removes free will. That's mind. Wonder Woman had a noble spirit. She still fell to his control. And was fine afterwards. Because it affects the mind.

But I ask again, is he getting months to corrupt Thanos or not? Because otherwise, that's a pretty lame argument.
