Martian Manhunter vs Thor

Thors body isnt water its entirely solid. Visions hand was inside thors body and he hadnt yet solidified it yet so he was indeed intangible at that point( At the very worst the majority of his body was still intangible).

Also, the word "sufficiently" only indicates that he wasnt solidified yet. It indicates that at the point his density was low enough for his hand to pass through thors body without causing any damage. Which in essence is intangibility

Vision was intangible when he first put his hand inside Thor.
But afterward he started to increase his density.
That is why Thor said "sufficiently". Sufficiently doesn't mean he wasn't solidfied yet since it can't be omitted without changing the meaning.

Vision can change his density to various levels. The hand inside the body is his trademark move.

Intangibility has to due with reducing ur density. When vision put his hand inside thors body he was at his lowest possible density. However when thor hit him with mjolnir while he had begun the process of solidifying his body he hadnt even reached the point where his hand being inside thor would cause any pain. With that we know that he was sill at a very low density level when thor hit him, low enough for it to be impossible for a solid object to have an effect on him without the said object having specific abilities to affect objects of such low densities

I agree totally.

I'm not quite understanding what you are saying here. I'm sorry.
Maybe you should give the word "him" an antecedent. Otherwise it (your post) seems ambiguous. Maybe its just me though. Please clarify this again (or maybe its no need by the below)

But anyway Vision could have gotten as hard as say a gas when Thor applied the hammer to him. I'm pretty sure a gas isn't going to hurt Thor.

By "him" i mean vision, Visions density was low enough for it to be impossible to affect him(vison) with a physical strike unless the object striking him had special properties enabling it to do so. (that is enabling to affect objects of very low density)

Now I understand and agree completely. You are talking about causation.

I believe regular energy (like fire, lightning, etc.) could have an effect on the lowest of densities, as long as these things don't have density=0 (intangible).

Thor in a hard fought match wins....Martian Manhunter is underrated in these forums.

Thor wins 13/20
