The problem with that scenario is that the lasso binds, mystically, anything that has a soul (or sufficient aspect of a soul); he wouldn't be able to teleport out of it as even gods wouldn't be able to do that, without some greater understanding of truth to allow such an escape (which most of the gods she has bound with it have not been able to do); and the effect on Sentry's mind/soul would be potentially devastating (which is one reason why Diana might hold back on using the lasso if she were aware of the potential consequences).

Diana is capable of defeating Sentry, though his array of powers is greater than hers; if she holds back, he wins -- if she's forced to go all-out (i.e. for the kill), then she wins.

My above comment is about being KOed. As in "he can be KOed and has been KOed before."

yeah no argue about that.
but Sentry clearly got an upgrade last time. I don't say he is unbeatable but it remains to be seen if brute force can KO/subdue him now

it does when you can reform actually
and even if it's not true it gives you a vast majority against who can resort only to physical attacks

If he's KOed that implies defeated to me.

Sentry's powerful, more-so than Diana, but his mental flakiness is a big deal and Diana's definitely the more skilled by a lot. Between the lasso to hit his mind, her power, her defense (the bracelets should be able to block his attacks just fine, they can block pretty much everything), and her more aggressive nature, I think she'll take it a lot more than not. Sentry won't die but he'll lose the fight.
