He clearly doesn't cooperate with fanboys. I mean, did you see what he did to my unbalanced, unfair, illogical, and unreasonable arguments involving actual quotes and requests to "read"?!

It was traumatizing.

Oh why thank you.

Anyway, I think we shud use the nine Jedi/Sith as they are, because things are known about them and they all have feats to debate with.

On the other hand, Marvel team will obviously have to be limited to something reasonable.

I was thinking of all the Jedi, plus the Clones. Maybe try and come up with something that evens that. If not all the Clones, then a certain number of them.

Well that would be a completely different kind of debate, maybe the type this topic starter was really after.

But then what would you limit Team Marvel to be?

Hey, you're the brains of this operation, you tell me.

lol, well, we need to exclude Silver Surfer and Dark Phoenix for sure. But how many clone troopers are there exactly? Like the ones we see marching at the end of Episode II?

Let's say......The elite of the elite? With Commander Cody leading them? about.......250?

That would be awesome to see, the bruisers up front against the elite Clones, then you've got the blasters further back, with the special teams mixed about, and Xavier and regular Jean at the back.

Its hard when mix it up with clone troopers 🙁

Cause someone like the Hulk would make them non-factors, but he would get diced by Jedi. And them we would have to debate whether blasters can hurt someone like the Thing, Colossus and some others. And we all know when the debate starts, no one is going to debate things one by one, different arguments will be flying all over the place.

My argument there would be that lightsabers would make short work of Colossus and the thing.

Thing maybe, but there's the very off, but still plausible chance that Colossus' metal is lightsaber resistant, we can't really put up any movie feats since they gave Colossus so few parts, but there is the chance that it can stand up to a saber. Thing, I can't say anything for him.

All they say is its metal, and we have all seen what a saber does to metal.

True, but the Magna Guards fought jedi and their staffs were tipped with metal that wasn't affected by the sabers, so that leaves the possibility that Colossus' organic metal isn't effected either. His metal was at least strong enough in the movies to take automatic bullets with no harm. And when they cut through doors and things like that, it was a long, arduous process, quick cuts will only blacken the metal.

Well personally, my view is that anything below Adamantium will not stand up to a lightsabre.

People I reckon that can resist lightsabers...

Juggernaut
Silver Surfer
Wolverine/Lady Deathstrike
Superman (irrelevant but anyways...)
Dr Doom
The Thing (most likely not, but he is made up of an alien armor)

and Colossus, most likely not...

That's all I can think of for now...

Colossus has taken strikes from Wolverine before, and not been harmed, it's comic of course, but it's the only resource I have to draw on. Also, it's never been stated his metal is weaker than adamantium.

How is movie Doom's metal stronger than Colossus'?

And if Thing, whose made out of orange rock can take a saber, I think Colossus can. Also, if you're referring to the fact that he was bombarded with cosmic rays, it's not alien armor, the rays just caused a mutagenic change in his DNA.

Well I meant alien in the sense that theres nothing like it on Earth. I think Doom has proven his durability enough to say that he might resists lightsabres.

If you're going by comic Colossus, then I would agree with you. But even the comics seem contradictory sometimes, he is meant to be only "organic" steel, but he is obviously much more.

They say organic steel because he still seems human, and has functioning body parts and such. I think, they never really explained why they call it organic. But I think it's safe to say, it's a toss up, he might resist it, he might get cut through, but I will admit I am a Colossus fan, so I vote he takes a hit without losing something. The thing that really has me mad is that they underplayed Colossus so much, there were literally dozens of things he could have done in the movies, but just like in the comics, he's underrated.

Yea, all he did in the movies was carry a big TV lol. Well he also threw Wolverine...

I wouldn't say he is underated in the comics though, he has his Class 100 feats and he has survived a small nuke.

Not underrated strength and durability wise, I mean everybody always says things like, he gets beat by Thing and people even weaker than that. But his feats put him near the the of the mortal heavy hitters, even WW Hulk struggled before he bent his arms backward, and he himself said he would have made a worthy opponent for any of the other Hulks. Also, in the new comic, can't remember the name, he fights Hulk in the woods, and draws blood on his 1st punch, then the fight kinda goes back and forth until Hulk knocks him away, but anybody who can get punched that hard by Hulk and not go unconscious, is a beast.

In the movie he also took some bullets, then threw a few guys through a wall rather hard.

I would like to point out that some people have made a point of range being to the MV teams advantage. But I don't think this is the case for the following reasons:

1. The Force is an energy field that binds all things in the SW universe.

2. In several of the SW films Jedi experience things that have happened in completly different star systems light years apart (Aldeeran being destroyed, Luke sensing Leia's fate at Bespin.

(P.S. Can we include the Clone Wars movie or is it just the live actions?)
