Comes out this Friday (March 6th) in the States. I have my ticket reserved for the midnight showing (on Thursday evening, technically Friday).

Comes out thursday for us Aussies.

It's out tomorrow here... Wondered if anyone caught a preview. Empire reviewed it, so did a few newspapers. So far it looks pretty good.

I'm beyond excited for this film. I HAVE to find a way to see it this weekend.

I have to agree with you there.

Iunno, I mean so far it looks prty good.

I just wish Alan Moore had a better attitude about movies. I mean even if he doesnt want a movie its going to happen.

so he might as well put his effort into making it a good one instead of turning his back on it.

but thats in the past.

I'm looking forward to it and should see it on Saturday

Either way i'm seeing that movie

65% on RT so far. About what I expected. It's probably going to end up at around the 70% mark; or, then again, it could simply go down and into 'Rotten' territory.

Anyways, I'm not nearly as excited as everyone seems to be for this, but I'll definitely try to watch it. It seems at least interesting.

If its half as good as the comic it will be COMPLETELY AMAZING.

I'll definately watch it just out of pure curiosity, and while it will be entertaining, I doubt it will accurately capture the depth of Watchmen.

In fact, I recall a review saying the exact same thing.

Yeah. I had the same problem with DKR as well. I see some clever symbolism in Watchmen, but I thought that Moores anarchist ideals were clumsily spelled out. The comic is too heavy handed for me.
