Take Down Routh Superman

Started by Final Blaxican6 pages

He wasn't in a spaceship when he flew back in Returns, he was just flying normally. Returns takes place after the end Superman 2, when Superman flies off to see if anyone survived Krypton's destruction besides Zod. Returns is just him... returning.

Superman in the opening credits flew through a black hole... It was in first person showing his flight from the destroyed Krypton back to Earth.YouTube video

I always thought that, seeing as you see the destruction of krypton in it, that it was his original journey to earth as a baby. Maybe you're right though.

He falls back to Earth in a spaceship.

And like jaden101, I thought the depiction of the destruction of Krypton meant that the opening credits detailed his initial trip to Earth.

No, is just the presentation of the explosion of Kripton, Superman travel in a space ship

No, because the last scene shows us flying into the atmosphere in first person, but the next scene in the movie shows adult Clark crash landing on Kent Farm and his mother finds him beaten up in the fields.

Yes, Dark Phoenix was only in X3. I'm sure topic starter will allow Jean Grey feats if I ask for clarification 🙂

Is logical To me that Phoenix does everything Jean Grey can, multiplicate.

There is something i would like to ask, When Superman lifted the island, he kill the 3 minions of Luthor, so my question is that is posible that the powers of Ghost Rider could work on superman?, of course i admit Superman is faster, and if he goes straight to send everyone to space the rider will lose, but we have to admit
Superman is kind of cocky because he knows himself powerful, like when he put himself in the line of fire of the machine gun or when he confront Luthor.

and Reeve Superman kill Zod and minions too, but this thread is only about Superman returns.

Superman didn't do it directly and he wasn't aware of that happening, so I dunno.

He has too much confidence in his strenght then?

The smile he does after his eyeballs bounce the bullet show him being cocky IMO

Are you really trying to make an argument that he loses because he's cocky?

Because that would be the barrel being scraped in this thread.

I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me why feats of the same character in the same continuity aren't up for discussion.

he's not cocky, he's confident. not over confident, just confident. he believes he can do good in the world with the power he has, so he does it. it's not about ego.

No. PS only works if you've done wrong.

Which is why you find a way for him to commit sin. If anything, make it so Superman's only shot to win is to kill.
And besides, lust is technically a sin, and he hanky pankied Lois.

All else aside, he'd have to make eye contact first.

He'd be halfway to the moon before he knew Superman was there.

What?

Movie said that the PS makes the person feel/suffer all the pain they've caused others/done wrong. Nothing to do with the Judeo-Christian 'deadly sins' concept. Superman is definitely a good-guy, he's probably the best good-guy there is, PS won't harm him.

Unless you do WHAT I JUST POSTED.

[Ghost Rider] would have to make eye contact first.

He'd be halfway to the moon before he knew Superman was there.

No, only that if he confront the team at the same way he confront the bank Robbers and Luthor the probabilities that he can lose are greater, because you asume that he will "speed blitz", but didnt do that in the movie.

He is a good guy, i only said that he kill 3 guys without intention, he could feel the pain, but honestly he will overcome, he show pain resiliance in the movie, i am only trying to make a good debate
