Dante vs Link

no, the one in the cutscene is not lightning. It IS significant;y faster than the lightning's *gameplay* speed, though, is the point.

Dante wins!!

Kinda annoyed that Neph stole what I was gonna say >_>

That flashes speed is unquantifiable 😐 and all the 'ganons been doing it for years' sums up to one instance of possession that has too many loose ends and one where he had the Tridant. Both times are also not Dorf the Gerudo.

It being 'magic' could also mean that it is superior to regular Lightning. After all, if "Beyond Absolute Zero" can somehow exist in the DMC verse due to 'magic', I don't see why magic-induced Lightning couldn't be equal to or superior to regular Lightning.

Maybe its all the obd lightening=/=magical lightning Ive been reading but this magic lightning should be given a speed. It needs something in-game to compare its speed to. Thats because DMC's 0k was proven by quotes then explained with magic.

I still think that below absolute zero is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of, by the way. Just one more reason to hate DMC.

It is stupid. Makes no sense.

Isn't below absolute zero just -1 etc though?

Absolute zero is the coldest that is even logically possible. Temperature is the measurement of motion of molecules, if I have that part right. So Absolute Zero is when the molecules are not moving at all.

Below absolute zero is...less motion than no motion.

Absolute Zero is the lowest THEORETICALLY possible, due to Thermodynamics it is actually impossible as long as heat exists in the universe.

There's that too.

Does it matter whether or not Ganon can shoot lightning if Link can block Agahnim's (ie: Ganon's) lightning?

1. Different dimension, magic, rule 14 etc&blah

2. Who cares...

Oh yeah heat, Ifrit reduces Link to ashes.

Is still really stupid.

He never reacts to Agahnim's lighting attack.

Disagreed. It is avoidable/blockable.

Avoidable by walking away before he fires.
Blockable by, I dunno, raising a shield before he fires.

No canon reactions.

So the argument is that Link knew it was lightning before it was lightning.

I think the argument is that if you see your archnemesis charging up an attack you get the **** out of the way. 😬

I quote this in response to the Lightning argument biscuits

That would make sense, except for the fact that people can aim. This leaves only blocking, and holding up a shield is stupid because the attack may just have enough force to knock you off your feet or through the wall behind you.

Fine, then I'd say that since it occurs during gameplay motivation doesn't matter since its the player making the decisions there, not Link.
