Pokemon is for children, thats its target audiance, the colours and designs are not aimed for adults....if you think Pokemon is aimed for adults then this conversation is useless. Zelda, Mario, Sonic are not aimed for older generations regardless of older people playing them.

My wording is bad there. I meant that I've seen people my age refuse to play Pokemon because it is for children. But again, they had played a Pokemon game before, so they knew what they were talking about. I've seen you say Zelda is childish on multiple occasions, so you have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm curious, do you think there's something wrong with an older gamer playing Pokemon games or any other game aimed for children?

@Nemesis: Twilight Princess sucks. It's easily the simplest Zelda game ever. But still, the storyline isn't for children.

I am jerking off so I will not answer BT's post yet, but I will say this.

Zelda is targeted at both children AND adults, that is the genius of the games.

Children enjoy the action, and the adventure of playing as a kid(Link is usually at best 12, OoT and TP are the only Zelda's different in that regard) to save the world, however, adults or young adults can enjoy the depth of the plotline, the excellent characters, and also enjoy the action.

Ofcourse I have some idea, saying ive no idea is an insult to those debating for its characters because it means theyve shown me nothing of the game. ive seen plenty of Zelda to know who its aimed at, ive seen plenty of its cartoonish comedic design to know its not a God of War, LOK, DMC etc..its not made for mature audiance.

OoT, and TP, the other 3D Zelda games, are both graphically realistic for their time.

Also, DMC is a far lesser game than any mentioned in this thread, use a better example.
