No you see no wonder you misunderstood it and thought it was a joke, you dont understand what target audience is, theres no way the opinion of someone who has played all the games can have the same view as someone who is a new customer or a target audience, they could easily outline the game as adult simply because they like it, or have bias because they enjoy the game a lot which is obvious in Screampastes case.
On the other hand, not having played any of the games but obviously seen all the advertisement, I can see without any knowledge of the actual game or its content (e.g. ime at the knowledge of the audience to the game before actually playing it, so I have a better grasp of what they would be targetting at rather than simply assuming its my age group, you would have to understand that the deeper content of the game is not necessarily what is made to appeal to an audience or intended customer e.g. kids/adult)
Screampaste, Nemo and anyone who has played the game would have the knowledge of the whole games that they have played in the series, which means they would be talking from a perspective of actually knowing whats in the game, which of course is the opposite to the intended audience because they would not know, on base value to give a few examples youve got main characters of games, lets choose Kratos from God of war and Link quite naturally, Link is a pointy eared typical hero with bright green clothes and in a lot of the games is a child which of course such a character is hardly made for mature audience or adult generation especially in comparison to Kratos, Dante, Kain etc
Also the intended audience, looking at two screenshots below, as a customer what would you off hand say is more mature looking:
This is a random screenshot, it says its Majoras mask but whatever it is, its a LoZ game, notice the bright colours, a fairly cartoonish tone to everything, everythings built for eye catching or comedic value, eye catching so that young children like the colours, link being a child like them would also likely draw them in.
Then we have:
God of War, which obviously, its far more serious in nature, dark tones, dark characters. Theres no flashy looking cartoony objects, not in the graphics or the heads up display or interface, the character reeking of burtality, vegeance and violence is one of the immediate and obvious mature themes but the whole graphic style tells you which of the two games is aimed at adults, and which is aimed at younger gamers.

For it to be cartoony it can't have realistic graphics you dim-witted buffoon. 😐Bright? Define "bright." And dude, nah, play Twilight Princess or Majora's Mask, both games are not "bright," they are dark in nature. Immature? And...Who is immature? Hell, how many LoZ characters can you even NAME? They are nothing like the games you've mentioned...In that they are not gory and have cursing. However Zelda is a MUCH more mature game series than DMC, and more than God of War as well, despite the fact that I am actually a fan of the series.
I do not like the game because it possesses a shitty plotline, has crap characters, cheesy, unfunny lines, and mediocre gameplay.
You saw the quotation marks right? sarcasm....
bright as in, light colours to catch the eye, twilight princess looking at it may be an exception, ime not really sure but Majoras mask if the image above is from that game is not "dark"..lol a more mature game series than DMC and GOW? explain this statement...your saying just because its got a better story? or a harder puzzle?
