For all the Empires technology(Time to use a point from Hewhoknowsall) Stormtroopers can be killed by rocks, or at least incapacitated so I think if an ICBM wouldn't do the job a couple of heavy guns will.
ICBMs are big. Vader's location would be hidden, and no government, not even the American government would fire an ICBM to kill a burnt man in a leather suit with breathing issues, Vader could just rip bombers and fighter out of the sky, whilst deflecting missiles, i find your lack of faith disturbing, in Lord Vader of course.

First you put a LOT of faith in Vader saying that this one man will redirect ICBMS, destroy fighters with a wave of his hands, etc... and then you say that nobody would waste an ICBM on him because he's just a " burnt man in a leather suit with breathing issues", and then proceed to say that "Vader could just rip bombers and fighter out of the sky, whilst deflecting missiles, i find your lack of faith disturbing, in Lord Vader of course"????

The perceived contradiction here arises from the point of view one uses to examine the situation. We can use our knowledge of how the world works to predict that, realistically, no nation would employ nuclear Intercontinental Ballistic MissileS (ICBMs) against one relatively small invasion force. We can also use our knowledge about Darth Vader's true capabilities and predict how he would react should Earth act out of character and use unusual and presumably ineffective weapons. We know that his unique skillset makes the already unwieldy weapons nearly useless against the invasion force.
There is no contradiction: Vader could redirect missiles, yet no one on Earth would think to send them against him.

I never said Vader could redirect ICBMs, that is foolish, by missiles I meant simple AG and AA missiles. Plus Vader is extremely strong in the force, and would be able to take a fighter out of the sky, i mean did you see what he did to that room at the end of ROTS. if that happened to a fighter jet, it would come down.

Let me ask you (BTW, sorry if I offended you):
If Vader could destroy our fighters with a wave of his hands, then why didn't he just destroy all of the X-wings attacking the death star? Sure; X-wings =/= F-22s, but the same principal applies here. Couldn't he destroy all of the snowspeeders on Hoth?
So discounting Vader, the Empire has no way of countering aircraft, missiles, artillery as well as logistical problems
