@Mr. Andersen, that's a good theory, problem is star destroyers aren't allowed, and the USA knows about Star Wars and therefore would know about the Empire.

True, but their TVs and McDonalds are at stake here, ie EVERYTHING. So the leaders will simply avoid all contact w/Vader in any form, so that fails. Then they proceed to bomb the Empire to death (not w/nukes, just normal bombs).

So the mind trick/choking method fails unless proven otherwise. Anybody else have another argument?

I said that a while ago, but you guys ignored it and kept on rambling on and supporting a side that was doomed to lose. So I win this argument because I supported Earth, you guys supported Empire and Earth won. The leaders won't allow for Vader to have communications with them, and Cilghal failed to use it against some random guard.
