The Genosis battle is a bad example, there were droids everywhere, no matter where a Jedi might have moved, they would be in the same position. They had no choice but to stand and fight. I suggest you watch TPM again and see how many droids there were.

Face it, Jedi don't have speed-blitz attacks, they can run away at enhanced speeds though. To bad this is a forest with many a tree to run into and rock or branch to trip over, otherwise Obi might stand a chance of running (away) his anus to safety.

The droidekas are not force users, they have no precog. A Force user will sense a Jedi/Sith preparing to move at enhanced speeds and adjust accordingly. If Kenobi decided to move behind Maul at enhanced speed, Maul would realize his intent and simply spin to block.
