No Judge for you!

Are the current version of the rules (with updates/clarifications) displayed on page 1?

Can i judge?

There's no speed cap, so this doesn't matter .... but can anyone clear this up for me in a scientific kinda way.....

We've seen Iron Man go into outer space which requires a minimum speed of escape velocity.

Escape velocity>>>Mach 10

Surely "escape velocity" differs depending on weight/fuel storage of whatever vehicle is trying to "escape" the earth.

A vehicle/meta with a constant speed of 10mph (with unlimited fuel/energy) would eventually break orbit if it/he kept pushing vertically for as long as it takes.

It matters a lot for shuttles/rockets because their fuel only lasts a very short time and they have to "escape" before they run out of thrust.

At least that's my unresearched/not even trying to look it up/ point of view.

Can I not be a judge?

Mass is irrelevant to the escape velocity of an object.

However, there is some truth in what you're saying. If Iron Man has enough energy output to escape Earth's atmosphere at Mach 3 (or whatever), then he can certainly do so.

I suppose, in retrospect, that that wasn't the right point to bring up about Iron Man's speed. The main point of contention is him following Sentry to the sun. That kind of traveling speed HAS to be faster than Mach 10.

He didn't go to the sun.

and as I mentioned earlier he prepared his armor to go into space before hand.

That could mean TONS of different things. He has to boost his suits' energy supply, he has to create oxygen reserves, he has to shield himself from cosmic radiation, etc.

It doesn't necessarily mean he made his suit faster. Inconclusive to say the least.

He has gone to space before without needing to prep. The point is moot considering I have already given a ruling on the subject.

Considering what his other suits had to do to go into space it's not really inconclusive *shrugs*
