If the Nazis started calling themselves The Labour Party I wouldn't stop being a supporter of the Labour Party, because their ideology does not fit with the name. If the Antifa who are being fascistic themselves call themelves Antifa, then the term is a contradiction, and there fore they are not Antifa

And yet violent little shits have ruined it. Saying you are a white nationalist has the potential to come with negative connotations too, even though not all of them are nazis or white supremacists. We also both know that even though you might be okay with it, it would be seen as racist here.
So it sucks that some shitheads ruined the label, but they did lol.
There are even specific Antifa chapters, like Antifa Boston. They are communists and actually got mad when they were called patriots.
Like I'm personally proud of my European heritage (which is mixed, I have Romanian, Swedish, Polish and non-specific Prussian heritage), which is by default 'white', but it's not the White part I'm proud of, it's the lineage itself, as well as my own specific family members. But everyone should be able to be proud of their heritage, it gives people a sense of being part of something larger.
