Yeah, they go around at night and beat t'shit out of black people, generally.
So there should be heavy police presence at their gatherings. Not dipshit fascists showing up ready for violence. They exacerbate the situation, they do not help it.
Or how about this, lets just call out violence when it happens? No matter what side it is from? Let's not ignore violence. That should be simple.
White people who do not know their heritage should definitely be allowed to be proud of being 'White' if that is all they have. Sadly, this might end up with them delving into racism, but what other choice do we have? Plenty of black Americans also delve into racist ideology and hate speech, which is often accepted by mass culture due to their history of oppression. Sad but true.
And this is why, IMO, the actions of people across the country(and world, in fact) have made the Antifa label poison. You also say it's not political, but some parts are. Antifa California, for instance, says the group is a "political media icon".
And yes, those shitheads from that specific chapter have been involved in violent clashes.

Why? It was a stupid thing to say. Seriously lol. We aren't talking about the third reich here. Is the actual implication that some 4th reich would rise if some dipshits didn't show up to "protest" wearing masks and weapons at some nazi rally?
Let's not twist what "ignore" means. You know I didn't mean the authorities should ignore them.
Originally posted by SurturNo, but the rise of a demagogue such as Trump and the support he received from Nazis and the KKK shows that violent racist ideologies still have a major platform in your country. I don't give much of a shit about 'Antifa', I'm literally just saying that using the label Antifa as a smear is unhelpful, inaccurate and pointless. Antifa Boston and Antifa California, for all we know, might belong primarily to completely different ideologies. Boston might be anarchists, California might be communists, etc. Hence why the broad, umbrella 'Antifa' is a useless description, and it should be dropped.

Oh christ almighty, no man, no lol. Nazis do not have a major platform. Trump isn't a nazi. So why is it nazis seem emboldened? Because people continually portray him as a nazi, a white supremacist, etc. It gets tiring. Yes, the KKK do support Trump. But he doesn't espouse their views.
Using the nazi label as a smear is also unhelpful, and people do it all the time and you seem to not take issue, or if you do you stay quiet about it.
Saying these people have a major platform here is wrong. He has denounced them multiple times.

If you do not want to watch, I will describe some of it: not only does it show him disavowing people like David Duke in recent times, it even shows him from 17 years ago doing it.
They keep saying he never calls out these people, it's a lie. This EMBOLDENS nazis and the kkk. This is the media. It is not Trump doing it.
