"The fate of the land hangs in the balance, and those chosen by Merlin waste their time arguing one another? In my days as the keeper, I have seen enemies work better together through the trials of the temple" Silver frowned, eyeing the group before her. She was leaning against the door they had walked through to enter the second chamber, her arms crossed and her breath calm beneath the masked face.
"The trials of the temple is not about brute strength or a lot of power. That is why most fail, because of their confidence in their power" Sivler uttered and walked through the group. She then shot away as a bolt of lightning, impacting the ground in front of the stone guardian, reforming once there. It reacted to her presence and came at her, although she dodged each move by the guardian with acrobatical skills and swift maneuvers. It followed her briefly, and then walked back to the exit, blocking it "The trials of the temple is more a matter of brains than brawns. Mighty as the guardian may be, it can only focus on one target at the time. If it focus on something mobile, it can't focus on the exit, leaving it open for each and everyone else to leave the room except for its target"
Forming into lightning again, she shot back to the entrance of the room, her arms crossed as she leaned against the wall once more. "Time is running out. I don't know much about this Doom character, but if he's anything like what I sensed, he's likely past the third trial by now. So quit your fighting and work as the team Merlin visualised you as. He sent you here in confidence. You don't only fail the world, but him as well if you keep fighting instead of working together"
"That is why most fail, because of their confidence in their power." These words from her struck Brian like actual lightning. Confidence was what gave him his powers, without it they would dwindle and he would become weak, without it his team would begin to falter as they are doing now, fighting each other. There are a few intelligent ones, they see the futility in arguing. Ever since they came together Brian has been trying to teach them all about sacrifice and working together for the greater good, but that lesson still seems to miss their ears.
"That i ENOUGH! I am tired of all of you fighting and arguing with each other because you don't agree with what was said. From now on, if someone says something you don't like then ignore them. That is an order, and Bran, I don't want anymore smart comments from you while we're in here. I need you to help my friends get past all of this. Now it seems you all don't understand what must be done, so once again allow me to show you."
Brain then calms down and regains his mental composure. He walks over to Galaxia and kneels down to her level and places his hands on her shoulders.
"Hey there, Galaxia is it? Thanks for getting my friends back in line, that was very brave of you. I know we haven't been formally introduced, but I'm Captain Britain, but you can call me Brian. You met my uh...twin Albion earlier. Now I'm going to need you to stay strong for my team in the next room ok? I'm going to distract the guardian and I want you to run through and meet up with Nightcrawler and everyone else ok? Be safe and strong Galaxia, I believe in you."
And with that he stands up and looks at their target. He was nowhere near Silver's lightning speed, but he was surely fast enough to keep up with and dodge the Guardian. Brian took flight and charged at him, thus serving as their distraction so everyone could make it safely. What will be done when no one was left but him still remained a mystery that he didn't care about at the moment.
"Everyone go now! Forget about me, hurry and stop Doom and that is an order!"
Brian kept the show going. Hit and run tactics were what he decided to stick to for his distraction. He was nowhere near hurting the guardian but his attention was all that he wanted. Everyone else was on continuing to leave thanks to him and Albion even managed to go along with his wishes and made his way through as well.
"I'll take better care of them this time Brian. Try not to die, because that would affect me in a horrible way.
