XT thought for a moment. "...What if one were to agitate the Fire dragon enough to make it breath fire in the direction of the Ice dragon? Then perhaps they would fight each other..."
"I'm not sure to be honest. I know for a fact that they have brains, but if they are prone to telepathic attacks due to their mythical nature and all of that, then I don't know."
Bran interrupted them and decided to consult the dragon expert in the group.
"Hey Meatball Head, are you immune to telepathy? We need your uh...sister I assume to hit the Ice Dragon."
~Reeka appeared behind the man calling her "Meatball Head"~ Yup. If you think his skin is tough then try getting into his mind. And its my brother for your information. As for that one... We are not related. She is .... well... yeah good luck trying to get him to attack her. You humans... Why would they put two males as guards? They would be bickering against each other the enitre time. Better to have a pair that is together. ~reeka giggled at the thought.~ But if you really wana get by I can distract her a bit. We bicker all the time. Got in a fight once, though I lost. ~She pouts a bit at the thought.~
~Reeka shrugged.~ Well If someone who is really really strong can- The Ice dragon growled something that made the Fire one lift his head. Reekas eyes widened then narrowed. Just be ready to run.... She spun around in a circle before landing on her feet. She turned to the ice dragon and ran towards it. Reeka opened her tiny mouth and a huge roar escaped her lips and at the same time her tiny form exploded and she took the form of a Red Fire dragon and attacked the Ice dragon. However she was half the Ice dragons size she still put up a good fight. The Fire dragon kept his head up just watching them. Reeka and the Ice dragon bit at each other, each roaring out in pain as the other bit down on hard scales, Dragons teeth one of the few things able to get by their natural armor. She looked to the others and roared out at them telling them to go.~
"Meatball Head...If we ever see her again then I'll have to thank her for this. The people of Avalon are truly selfless it seems."
Albion and Britain began leading the team through the final door so that they may claim their prize and stop Hood's plans, but little did they know that they were in last place mostly due to the arguing and snide comments to each other.
~Reekas large yellow eyes looked to Spiderman as she heard him talk about a Present. "a Present?" She thought. It was enough of a distraction. The Ice dragon threw its head against Reekas sending her head rocking to the side. The Ice dragon roared and bit down on her neck from behind, teeth sinking through her scale armor on either side of her neck. She let out a loud shriek then blew fire out of her mouth at the Heros. She didnt do enough to hit them, more of a signal to hurry up and get through the door. She twisted out of the Ice dragons mouth, blood splashing down and then tackled the other dragon into a wall. she held it there for a moment, enough time for the the rest of them to get through. The last thing they would see is Reeka being pushed back and slamming onto the ground before the door closes behind them.~
The figure that stood before was none other than Doom sitting before the throne which was apparently the third artifact. His intelligence and brilliance was what got him here before them, and he decided to take a minute to applaud them all for their efforts.
"Welcome heroes and villains, you are here just in time to witness to ascension of DOOM. I hate that you all had to waste your time and go through such grueling trials just to reach failure in the end, but you should have already foreseen this outcome when you know that DOOM is in the running. Now all of you shall witness DOOM do what neither of you could."
Hood stood completly still, his hood causing his face to be shrouded in shadow. After a breif moment a low growl could be heard coming from him. "G-giiivvee it to me.....give it." he said to Doom in a low voice his head slightly raised showing the lower part of his face. His tounge was long and narrow and his teeth fanged.
Spider-man quickly took a stance not sure what to do "umm what do we do guys"
Danny quickly did the same not exactly sure how to take this
Hood turned around and growled at Ashlocke his eyes glowing brighter and the ground below Ashlocke and Aziza began to have large cracks in it. From the ground two large scaly tendrils flew out and wrapped around them. they began to constrict the two of there bodies as Demons began pulling the tendrils towards the ground once at the bottom "Hang tight" He looked back at Doom and pulled out his guns, the barrels were glowing and had a fiery like substance coming off of them. "GIVE IT TOO ME NOW"
"Which psycho are we talking about now?"
[i]Doom chuckles beneath his breath.
"Ha, dissension amongst the ranks Hood? Laughable as usual I see. I don't think I'll be giving anything to you Hood. DOOM will not be anyone's slave. Now silence beast and behold DOOM as he embraces destiny."
With no more hesitation Doom sat on the throne and received the final artifact. Arcane winds began to rise and surround him as he sat there with a smile hid beneath his mask. The powers and knowledge of Avalon entered his mind and body and he received their gift. Doom was now able to use Avalonian magic and he prevented Hood from obtaining another artifact. Doom rose from the throne more powerful than ever.
"Behold the power of DOOM, for it is absolute and beyond any of your comprehension. I am done here, you imbeciles may do whatever you wish with one another."
Doom turns his back to them and begins focusing on creating a time portal back to the present time.
Hood grunted and he smirked
"Guess he's healed" Hood said as he reverted back to his human form. A giant door appeared above them and a loud thundering voice spoke shaking the ground. "SUBMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the words were painful to the ears and would cause horrible headaches to those hearing it. The Door slowly began to open it and flames could be seen seeping from the crack. "YOUR POWER SHALL BE MINE"
Spider-man and Danny fell to the ground holding there ears
"Doom just leave with it, Hurry. No matter what you plan It's better then him getting it" Spider-man shouted

XT-Rhino knelt down and held his ears in pain also, struggling to maintain his hold over Rhino, he was knocked out of stealth. It was almost enough to sever his connection with Rhino as the symbiote shifted and flailed about. But not enough to make him let go.
