Wizards vs Mutants

Did they use Occlumency? Nope. They employed no magic powers. A human having "resistance to telepathy" and a wizard employing Occlumency are two different things.

On a side note, thete has been something I have been meaning to ask since Origins came out. Wolverine, in X Men, cannot remember his past. Is Sabretooth the same? And what was done to them to make them forget the past? Obviuosly I havent seen Origins yet, post a spoiler if necessary.

Nothing happened to Sabretooth, he knows everything. Wolverine however was shot in the head (with a magic bullet) hence the memory loss.

I agree with this logic. All X-men characters should be susceptible to Occlumency. Even Xavier. The only exception would be Dr. Who. Dr. Who has only seen cartoon movie time.

It is LAW.

Let's say Voldemort is killed. We all know he has the ability to possess people, as he did Quirrel in COS. What's so stop him from possessing Dark Phoenix and turning on the mutants? Or just having her kill herself? What's to stop him from possessing Xavier?

With Hocruxes, Voldemort can do this and return to battle. Yes, I know, Hocruxes are not introduced until the next movie, but they will be in the next movie, that's a given.

Probably their mental defenses?

It's not a mental, but a physical possession. He's actually a parasite. He uses the life force of the person he invades to stay alive. He doesn't control their mind any more than a tapeworm does. He just eats away at you. Which means he can suck away your life as fast or as slow as he wants to. And since he's a sort of spirit before he enters your body, no amout of telepathy can stop him.

I'm sorry, are Xavier or DP shown resisting possession by a man who can return from the dead? I think not.

Hell, even better, possess Logan or Deadpool and wreak havoc. Possess Logan and have him kil Dark Phoenix, then possess Deadpool, and have him polish off the rest.

Charles does a mind transfer to whoever he pleases.

I'm sorry but has he been shown possessing a mutant or the Phoenix someone who can either return from the dead or shield herself from death?

Magneto would stop a berserk Logan or Deadpool instantly if they turned on them. Outside of PIS he can't kill Phoenix. Mind you she let him kill her.

She never came back from the dead..... she had a telekenetic force field around her. Charles may be able to transfer his mind but we have established that occlumency stops the invasion of the mind. So if Voldy can come back from the dead and enter everyones BODY not mind and take their life away the wizards win im sorry.

Logan can't kill Phoenix if she is really trying to stop him.

Doesn't matter because when voldy jumps into her and kills her shes outta the fight. along with xavior.

Sure.

Sure is right.

Absolutely.

Actually Jean did die, the TK shell was reconstituting her. And Voldermort never died, he had his soul in several Horcruxes.

And the spirit thing not being affected by TP is bogus, Shadow King is a purely psionic entity, with no physical body, but he can still have his mind raped. If it has thoughts, Xavier can take it out.

Oh, and regardless of them being in the movie or not, until they are seen, they can't be used, so until the next movie comes out, when Voldemort dies, he's done.

How did we end up to using Voldemort with body possession as an option? He's only done that when he is severely weakened, and that was to keep his spirit intact, he in no way had full control over the mind of anything beyond animal intelligence.

Well that's what i'm saying he is merely a parasite. He can't control their mind, he can just kill them.

Yeah cuz in the first movie he didn't turn into the spirit, no way man we imagined the whole thing. Im not using horcuxes im pointing out that he did get hit with the killing curse but instead of dying he turned into it. And no jean did not die.

Not in any amount of time what would be considered even close to passable in a match like this. He jumped from rat to rat only because their life force was so weak. The minute he jumped into Quirrel, he didn't have to worry because a human's life force is much stronger.
