Wizards vs Mutants

Think about what you're saying. She phased Juggernaut into the floor, then she phased back up. He was stuck in the floor until he broke out, the only reason he didn't die, is because he is the Juggernaut. If she had done it to anyone else, they would be dead.

I think that counts as an on screen feat, correct me if I'm wrong though.

Shit you got me there haermm

But honestly, you are just assuming one would die if she phased them into the ground. There is no proof of it. Its not like she is shown killing someone that way.

For all you know, if she drags a wizard into the ground, all they would have to do is apparate out.

Dude, it was stated in the movie by Nightcrawler that if you became solid inside a solid object you would die. And you honestly want to tell yourself that if you got phased into the ground, then made solid, all that rock piercing your organs and skin wouldn't kill you. Stop trying to make excuses man, you know good and well if that happened to anybdoy but Cain, they would die.

All that was stated in X3 was that Juggernaut, if he achieved momentum, could not be stopped. It never said his organs or skin was any stronger than a humans.

But...it'd have to be in order to be unstoppable...if not, he'd splatter against a brick wall. lol

And also, getting stabbed with Adamantium claws, and feeling no discomfort, and when the claws were removed he had no visible wounds. I'm sure that counts for something, especially sine he got stabbed in the face. Plus, he wasn't moving when he started wailing on Logan after the 1st shoulder charge. He was standing there, throwing him around and kicking him threw windows.

Just admit it man, stop trying to make up excuses, regardless of what Pyro said, we didn't see the list, it could have given a full readout of Cain's powers, but he might not have read the whole thing.

Is this the fight scene that is being referred to?

YouTube video

I'd like to point out that wizards also advise against apparating into solid objects. Seems they think it's rather unhealthy as well. 😐

No, deleted scenes from the movie, he got stabbed in the arm, laughed, knocked Wolverine down, then got stabbed in the face as well.

Not sure if deleted scenes count. Guess we need Impediment's judgement here.

But even if they don't, he proved he's more than just unstoppable once he's moving. I'm pretty sure they do though, because they weren't really deleted, they just couldn't put them into the movie and make it fit, they kept them though.

Well, thats what a deleted scene is, a scene that is cut for time purposes or other reasons.

i'll pm Imp and ask him.

Are you still doubting that becoming solid inside a floor or wall is extremely lethal for anyone other than Juggernaut? Who was shown to simply break his way out?

I gotta think about that one. Your argument is a prett darn good one 😉

But even so, I highly doubt the wizards will just be standing around waiting to be phased into a wall. Will has confirmed that the two parties have knowledge of each other, so surely they will be prepared for what Kitty has to offer.

Me, personally, if I were say, a death eater, I would take flight right away.

I'm not denying that if they know about her, they'll try to avoid her, but not everyone she uses the move on will be anticipating it, the X-Men know how to work as a team, and they will use that to their advantage.

I really dont see her best used phasing people in and out of walls. If it were me in charge of the mutants, I'd have her phase someone through all the spells and take out key players suck as Voldemort.

I mentioned Voldemort using Harry's invisibility cloak earlier, thoughts? Voldy wearing the cloak and apparating, man, that'd be ****ed up haermm

Was Voldemort shown apparating on screen? I can't remember the movie that well. And wouldn't Harry be using it? I don't care if we were on teams, if I was Harry, I wouldn't let Voldemort touch anything of mine, or even get near me.

Yeah, Voldy was shown apparating in OOTP.

Well I was thinking that Harry'd realize Voldy was that much more powerful and could do more damage, you know, give him the cloak in interest of the team. Truth be told, I dont think Voldy would really need it. It's like giving Logan a bulletproof vest. Moot.

I honestly think that phasing through matter, and phasing through spells are two different matters entirely.
